Awful.....very unpleasant.....We are a group of women who visit a new restaurant every month. Mostly in the north hills. We speak to the representatives of the new restaurant, regarding our visit, before we come, and also come and have a lunch before the group comes, We always, request, separate checks, and the time 1:00pm. We spoke to a Stephanie, requested menu, they said select 5 items, all charges same price. OK We get there last Friday, 7/17...Ladies are all seated, on porch. a waiter and waitress come to take orders. Our lady in charge of arrangements, was told, just then, there is a $450.00 charge for the room. There are only 14 people, to be served, we certainly did not ever hear of the charge or agree to the fee. Never heard or saw a contract, let alone sign one!!!!! The waiter and waitress were extremely rude to Peg and later to all of us. No refills on drinks, no additional dressing, when requested by 4 people for the salad.. Most of all, they BULLIED Peg to pay the 20% of the $450.00 room charge. How outrageous was this. This restaurant should be ashamed of the way, they allow their staff to talk and treat customers. I should say ex-customers...Be assured you will have the worst level of BAD MOUTH PRESS you have ever seen>>>>>>>

Im not sure how there are comments about how good this place is. Ive been to this restaurant twice and I should have learned from my first trip but I decided to give them another try. Big mistake. We sat at the bar and were attacked by gnats (it was like this the previous time too). I got the salmon which was an OK thawed out frozen piece of salmon. My asparagus was burned and had zero flavor. My guest got the strip steak and it was awful. It came with a side of mashed potatoes that didnt come out with the steak. When I told the server that we were missing the side I was given attitude and told that "it was coming." The bartender then brought them out and told us "oh I didnt forget about you even though it seemed like I did." The mashed potatoes were a joke. They were instant mashed potatoes out of a box and had zero good flavor. The steak also had zero flavor and was overcooked. My guest ate less than half of it. The bartender paid zero attention to this and even clearly heard us say how bad it was. She took it away and never asked how it was...probably because she knew what the answer was going to be. Ill never bring business back here. It was embarrassing to have an out of town guest at this establishment.

We chose Juniper Grill because of good reviews. A big disappointment. Heres why: 1. The lighting is terrible. Every single table has that terrible LED bulb on top. It is extremely bright and gives headache after some time. 2. We ordered several dishes to share, no sharing plates were served. 3. The waitress was good at disappearing, and nobody was around until the manager stopped by and asked if we need anything. 4. The plates that were served for sharing was almost cold like just outside from the fridge and it was wet. 5. We asked the Chipotle Skirt Steak as medium. It arrived well done and almost burned. Then the waitress kindly offered a new plate and this time the steak was almost rare. We asked the manager to be cooked a little bit more but still they were not able to bring the steak medium but burned outside. 6. Corn bread in the iron skillet was overall good looking but the taste was terrible probably just because of the use of cheap vegetable oil. Overall we had a terrible experience at Juniper Grill and seems we wont be back

I will start out by saying the restaurant looks very nice and the decor goes together well. I got the smokehouse platter where I could pick my own entrees. I chose the chicken breast with the smoked sausage. The downside was it took forever to get our food (they were really dead that afternoon.). The waitress was very nice and friendly, but she was very slow to refill our drinks and get the things that we needed. When the food did finally come, wow, not what I expected and was talked up by the waitress. The greasy sausage was something awfully cheap found at an establishment like Aldis. The Mojave desert had more moisture than the chicken did! The French fries that came out were so burnt that they were hollow! My companions with me thought their food was mediocre at best. I had high hopes for the restaurant.

We had a party of 8 on an early Tuesday evening (5pm). Before my whole party could walk through the door, they turned away our party. They stated they could not accommodate such a large party. (90% of the tables were empty at the time). Very rude and unprofessional staff - Shelly. When questioned further she then stated we could have two different tables but at that point no one wanted to eat there anymore - why beg someone to take your money.

Great dinner. We had the Valentine special. The spicy shrimp flatbread was out of this world. So was the raspberry bellini. Our dinners were also great. And many thanks to our server Brandon, who took the time to welcome us on our first visit. It was the first time a waiter had ever asked us our name. You remember things like that. We signed up for the e-mail club and we will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Food is ok for a middle of the road restaurant. They are totally confused about the significance of labeling a dish gluten free. They should change menu labeling from gluten-free to gluten-friendly when cross contamination is unavoidable. The waiter should not offer medical advice. The menu should include appropriate disclaimers.

Stopped in here for a quick bite after a trip the UPMC facility nearby. The decor was awesome, food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. It looked like a great place to grab a drink after work, but alas, with a drive back to Erie I opted not to have a drink at this time. Ill be back when we are in the area again.

Still good, BUT not as good as in the past. Opt for the fries over the mashed potatoes which were dry and lacking any flavor. The Mahi Mahi was very good, the Brisket was tender but a bit fatty. The cornbread is always a hit. Service was average, and not what it used to be. There are currently better places in the area.

Nice atmosphere but the food didnt impress. I ordered the skillet meatloaf special. I was really disappointed. It wasnt meatloaf. It was more like chopped steak. It wasnt bad but I expected meatloaf. This was not meatloaf. Manager have me the meal half price so Ill probably try them again next time Im in the area.

$30 steak had no taste to it, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a minute mashed potato box. Service was horrible, server never even asked if the meal was alright as they simply just took the meal away. Never left a place so disgusted with a meal.

Clean, contemporary atmosphere and a friendly wait staff. The food is very good overall. However, both the Ribs and the BBQ Chicken (which is only served after 5:00) are exceptional and you can get them both in one dish. I would highly recommend.
