While they call themselves a diner, lunchtime here is actually a Southern-style buffet with three or four different "main dish" meat entrees and many choices of Southern-style vegetables. Its all delicious, and the portions are HUGE, some come hungry or take the leftovers home in a box. The meat entrees rotate throughout the week. You can also get a four-item vegetable plate. Dont miss the okra and tomatoes, fried green tomatoes, or the fried mushrooms if they are one of the side item choices. You probably wont have room for dessert, but if you do, the Southern-style peach cobbler is a good choice.

Great Little Diner Found this little gem through Google. We have passed right by for the past 4 years but today we got lucky. Very laid back, family/community style atmosphere. It was very busy but since you are served at a cafeteria style bar upon entrance you seat yourself quickly with a very large portion of hot, fresh southern style home cooking. There is more than enough seating and although we came at lunch time we were still able to find a private corner. My family and I will definitely be coming back very soon. This is a very good diner in traditional low-key style without much fuss and decoration. Staff are genuine and friendly, without being over the top. They let you finish your meal without being pushy about bringing the check or anything like that. Bathrooms are clean. The place has good wifi if you want to get some work done, which we did. The food was very good. We recommended their main burger with all extras as it was really good, and crunchy. Then we went to see some of the wonderful swampland nature close by, which is really worth seeing, too. 5 stars hands down.

Well actually Ive never eaten here but..... I do go by there everyday and the place is always packed. I wouldnt think they are below average with a crowd like that every day. I did go inside once and its rather small kinda a tight squeeze between tables but huge buffet and food looked and smell delicious. Seemed to be plenty staff running around waiting on patrons. Im definitely going to stop by and actually eat there one day.
