We wanted to like it...we really did. Reviews were great but Im not sure why. Mediocre at best. The staff was nice and the food came out fast. Otherwise, it costs the same as food anywhere and definitely less appealing. Kids breakfast are almost $6 a piece and everything else was average in price. $8.99 for country fried steak. You get the idea. The food, in my opinion, below average. Id take the extra 20 minutes and drive to Cracker Barrel in Lakeland for breakfast or homecooking. Not going back.

Dont let Dunkin Donuts accross the street suck you in. This is a real local diner, cooking real food at fair prices. We were in Auburndale for a soccer tournament last year and ate here Saturday and Sunday morning...the whole family loved it. We will be doing the same this weekend as we travel to Auburndale for another soccer tournament. Cant wait!! The only downside, limited parking and you may have to wait as it seems to be a popular place.

we eat here often and always order the same food we have found your serving size depends on your server...for example a side order of grits can be a cup or a bowl depending on which server you have but yet the price remains the same which seems unfair and if you are brought a bowl one day its a shock when the next day you are brought a cup Bacon was brought raw one day and burnt the next.. Time to find a new diner

Went there after a doc appointment and was surprised by the staff. It was very busy but the waitresses had everything handled. Place was full so even the owners came out to help. Not only were they fast, and friendly but the got our order perfect! Even had time to stop and chat a bit to let us feel like family. The prices were great, and the food was unbeatable. Would recommend them to anyone anytime.

Awesome food, excellent staff! Arrived unannounced with a boys soccer team and parents on a busy Saturday morning and staff accommodated us with a smile! Everyone was very happy with the food and it all came out quickly to my surprise. Coming from NJ, Im always looking for a good neighborhood diner...this is it! Next time we are in town we will be back

We come here every weekend. Theyre great with my young kids and overall very nice. They recently changed ownership and I think reduced staffing as things seem to run a bit slower now when compared to a couple months ago.

Not very good listeners work here. To go food i ordered came out wrong but I didnt have time to go back to fix it so instead I wasted 5$ on gross food I didnt eat. Coffee tastes okay. Definitely not going back.

I visited Auburndale for a gig and stopped for breakfast. Delicious breakfast! Just a forewarning, there was little on the breakfast menu that wasnt swimming in gravy! Its all comfort food!
