Great service, huge portions, and low prices! This is your typical local diner but definitely worth stopping by for the delicious breakfast food. Be sure to get there early, especially on the weekend, otherwise be prepared to wait (but its worth it). We were visiting friends while in Lakewood and they couldnt have picked a better place. The waitstaff was always there with coffee and the food came out very quickly. Well definitely be back next time were in the area.

Classic greasy spoon tucked away in downtown Lakewood. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I try and get to it any time Im in town. Great food, cheap prices and wonderful service. Even has a nice little park right next to it to hang out and digest when its warm outside.

The Place To Be is a great little diner in the heart of Lakewood. The service is friendly and EXTREMELY fast! The food is fantastic, especially the breakfasts, corn beef, and gyros. Its cheap, delicious, and cozy - without a doubt the best of its kind on the West Side of Cleveland!

The Place to Be is the perfect way to describe Lakewoods favorite "Mom and Pop" diner. I typically order one of their classic breakfast meals or a gyro, but you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Make sure you get cash out beforehand as it is a cash only business!

My mother and father used to go here daily and my mother took me here for the first time in a while. I love it here the food and the people are so nice. Only complaint is there is no noise what so ever. Just a personal preference.
