Ive only been going to Deltona for a about a month for my job and Ive already ate at El Coqui for lunch three times. This place is a small, counter service Latin bakery that has a large variety of baked goods, a few flavors of empanadillas, and a few grilled sandwiches. It looks like they have breakfast stuff and espresso in the mornings but Ive only been for lunch. The El Coquitron sandwich is the main reason I keep coming back. Its a grilled pastrami, turkey, and cubed steak sandwich on Cuban bread. Pretty basic concept but really tasty. They also have a large variety of sodas from around the world. This is really the only good place Ive found to get a good sandwich fast in Deltona.

love this place. The first time i went there , one of the customers went on and on about how wonderful this bakery is. I was not disappointed. I look forward to going so i can try something new. Was not overly impressed with the chicken sandwich that the young lady working at the register recommended for me. The employees seem nice enough but dont expect smiles and knowledgeable customer service skills cause it aint happening, getting any kind of recommendations is like pulling teeth, not sure if its partially the language barrier or not. But anyway the pastries are delicious and cheap.

This is the place where you can get that Puerto Rican bread and the best hispanic sweets in the Deltona (South Volusia) area... Delicious Cafe Espresso too! The staff is very friendly and the prices are fair. The only downside is that they are closed on Saturday, but its a faith based business so that is respectabl. Visit El Coqui today!

This is one of my favorite spots in Deltona. Whether you speak Spanish or not the staff is very friendly and the prices are extremely fair. I can buy breakfast for my entire family of 4 for about 10$. Some of my favorites are the Coquitron sandwich, the pan de queso, and their delicious espresso coffee. 5 stars.

I give them 5 stars because there pastrami eggs sandwich is amazing and every other item ive bought... but unfortunally i wish customer service was a little bit better... a happy smile when you walk in. I work in a hotel in a open kitchen so i know how important is to keep a smile when u dont geel it.

I finally stopped in after driving by for the past 2 years. Ive been missing out for all that time. I had a Beef and Pastrami sandwich, to die for, absolutely delicious. My wife had 2 cheese filled pastry, they didnt last very long. I will never drive by again.
