THE MANAGER IS AWFUL! First, so 3 weeks ago me and my friends went there to send money and shop. We were in the line and we are the next person to be served when the manager (woman) If Im not mistaken the name was Carol called us to go to the other counter, shell take us. Then she told us that, that counter is not good for the lotto ticket just western union. So now the line is very long and we need to go in line and wait again for our turn. She doesnt have any INITIATIVE! she couldve sent us back to that counter where we were to take the lotto ticket as it was our turn in the first place. Second, last Monday I went there to shop with my toddler. I want to send money, so I went infront of the counter where the western union is accepted. Theres one ahead of me in the different counter (theres only two of us/ clients) so I waited to be served. Then this manager again was there, she acted like I wasnt there that I dont exist. She took the person behind me and asked me to moved so the guy can insert his card on the machine. I stay calm and wait for my turn again, then the manager saw this man with one or two stuffs in his hand (hes a publix employee as I can see the pin (name tag) she called that guy to go to the counter and shell take him. In my mind, am like REALLY????????? so I patiently waited again, then instead of calling me to be served she left. I felt like so DISRESPECTED! Finally, the other staff called me and took my business. Then this manager is back again, that time theres like 5 people behind me. And shes telling them to go to another counter. And guess what? this guy was pissed and said something to her! GOOD FOR HER! I smiled to the guy and told him about my experienced with this disrespectful and maybe a RACIST MANAGER. SHE got some good words to ponder from this guy. I guess the guy saw what had happened in front of him, the way this manager treats her client/clients. I HOPE FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT HAD BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MANAGER WILL COME UP AND SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE TOO. That way, one day this issue maybe or will be taken care of. PS. I LOVE PUBLIX! I always shop there as they have good quality products and very competitive price.

Good publix in regards to cleaniness, staff, product is rarely damaged. Price is way too high, variety in regards to brands and type is VERY POOR, example: they do not carry a general brand of ice cream sandwhiches of like a 24 pack for $4, they carry only klondike sanwhiches for 6 for $7, ridiculous. Note: its not like this only in regards to ice cream. Juices, meats, canned goods. If I didnt know any better Id say these big companies like Klondike are paying publix to only carry their crap. Granted in the past 6 months food prices have doubled if not tripled in Central Florida at least, so 6 months ago I would have bitten the bullet for my ice cream craving... But my craving now is not worth no $7 for 6 bars that will last 15 min when i get home to the kids and family. I do all my shopping at WINN-DIXIE, better prices is the only reason, still the same slack in brands.. IF store employees ever read this review, this is how most my family and friends determine where to shop: The lines to wait to check-out. Walmart for example has 32 lanes, usually only 3 or 4 are open, expect to spend an hour to checkout. Publix has 16 lanes, usually 2 or 3 are open, again expect at least 45 min to check out. Winn-Dixie has 12 lanes, usually 2 or 3 are open, again expect 45 min to check out. So if there was one store that had more lanes to check out- guess what, Id be shopping there despite the food choices, or prices.

Always friendly & helpful staff, that includes the pharmacy staff which goes out of their way to help you, plus they have a drive thru drop off/pick up for your prescriptions. As you may already know; Publix already has an outstanding reputation for being friendly, helpful, always clean store, stocked, BOGOs every week, the best subs around for a fair price, the best cakes made fresh to order from the bakery (youve got to try the Chantilly cake!) & Ive never had a wobbly squeaky shopping cart, I swear they have elves that oil them at night! But the Publix at Deltona Commons is by far my favorite Publix!

Some of the management team needs a refresher course on customer service, especially the deli manager, they are not as friendly as other Publix in the area. I did all my shopping their but not anymore, I took my business somewhere else. And Publix needs to improve their website, you go on their website and they have no pharmacy information no pharmacy hours nothing...

Like any Publix store it is very clean and organized. I shop here mostly for the deli subs and the experience can be hit or miss. Ive had a few occasions where my online order was not fulfilled and I ended up having to wait 30 minutes or so for it to be done. Otherwise the staff is pretty friendly and check out times dont take longer than a few minutes.

Fantastic staff here, always warm and friendly no matter the time of day. The ONLY thing I dont love is that they dont have fresh made sushi like the Howland Blvd. Publix.
