I live in NJ but whenever I visit my family in Ohio I swing by this supermarket. The inside looks great, the produce looks great, the layout is labyrinthine at times and sometimes the sorting doesnt make sense. Like how cereal transitions in mashed potatoes level of weird. Everyone seems to be in their own bubble when they shop here so dont be surprised if people literally walk into you and dont apologize. The parking lot isnt terrible - but keep in mind the previous sentence. The prices seem a little high compared to what Im used to in NJ at least.

Since I just left a negative review on another store, its only fair that I leave a positive one for Giant Eagle. Ive been very happy with the quality of food this store provides. I can ALWAYS be sure that the food is fresh and of the highest quality. The service at this store is outstanding! The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is that they often help too much at the self checkouts. I prefer to bag my own groceries. I did complain to the store once and now (most of the time) Im asked if I want help before they start to bag.

It may have been the day and time I went, I went to this store for the first time Sunday around 9PM. Its was unlike any other giant eagle Ive been too when it came to checking out. Their were no cashiers with the exception of two at the 12 items or less section. So if you had more than 12 items you were forced to use the kiosk self check out which I found pretty awesome. Store was cleaned well stoked, some produce wasnt the best but then again its not the best season for such.

I cant stand that store. They are constantly moving stuff around. There is no rhyme or reason how it is set up.??? Lets talk quality it is horrible. Rotten produce , and meats suck. They buy seconds . Anyone that does, buy one get one dont you think there is something about the quality.. I could go on and on. It is a shame that is not better cause there prices sure arent cheap. People you get what you pay for and this garbage. Rant done

Generic Big Box store. Corporate feel to it. Acceptable source of reliability in foods. Less expensive options , many times far less expensive for the same name brand products just up the hill.
