I just had the worst experience from them yesterday!!! I was the first customer of the day to walk in. A young lady was behind the counter sitting down watching tv. I was about to order a lunch special, krab rangoons and soda instead of a egg roll. I asked if they did boneless ribs for lunch special. The lady said no i had to a combo special which is $4 more. And she said i had to take the egg roll and pay for the soda separately. I didnt tale the soda. My order total was $14. And it was the worst. Krab rangoons had no crab in it at all!!!! Just creamcheese only.... and boneless ribs was 75% sliced fat barely any meat. And the white rice i substituted for was stuck together like a crusted chunk and wouldnt come apart. While i waited for my order for 20 minutes when they had no customers in the place the lady sat down again watching the tv the whole time. When it finally came out she handed it to me without even looking at me. I asked for chopsticks amd she gave me a dirty look for interrupting her show. Also they stopped making homemade dumplings with the rice dough!!!! The dumplings they sell are frozen potstickers!!! I am doing a chargeback thru the bank.... I am not wasting time and effort with them cuz of the bad service i received from them!!!

The food there is very delicious! I eat most of my lunches there and stay full the rest of the day, and have to wait for a while after I get home to eat my super. Not like other places where you get hungry shortly after you eat. Lady at the counter is very jovial and friendly, I do notice she come accross different from what we are used to as Americans. Took me a few visit to understand that. Plus it doesnt seem like shes been in the States for too long because she doesnt understand every word you say sometimes. You have to understand that they are native Chinese. And dont expect them to come accross like we Americans. I just assume Im in China when I walk in there. The Chinese music playing at the background, the strong Chinese accent, and the delicious food all compliment each other perfectly for me.

Lord Jesus. This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered the pupu platter for two, the crab rangoons and the house fried rice. The only palatable part of the meals was the rice. The rest...not so much. The Crab rangoons had absolutely no crab, not even the artificial crab most places use, the ribs were tough and slathered with what most closely resembles barbecue sauce. The beef teriyaki was more like beef jerky; honestly not even sure that it was beef. The egg rolls had nothing but cabbage in them, and the fried raviolis had some kind of slimy meat in it. We paid the bill and grabbed a fortune cookie; Even the packaged fortune cookie was stale. Save your money and your tastebuds. Stay away.

Very small selection of food. Tiny place in general. This establishment needs updating. Everything looks old, worn or dirty. The whole place is dark and dingy. I was there during lunch service, there was one girl covering the floor. All drink service, plate clearing and checking out, so service wasnt fantastic. The place wasnt busy and the buffet is very small, yet they werent even close to keeping up with the food. Empty pans every time I went up for food. There is little decor and the restroom was quite filthy. Overall it was a disappointment. That all being said, the food(when it was available) was fresh and tasty. But at $7.25 it wasnt worth the price. This would be a fine $5 buffet.

First off, this place only gets 1☆ so I could leave a comment. Second.... I extremely REGRET not reading the reviews before going here to eat. The BAD reviews are TRUE! The General Tsos chicken, has "NO CHICKEN"! It IS 99.5% breading. And when we left, my husband asked... "why isnt there any chicken, in the general Tsos chicken?" She responded "WHATS THAT?" The "SPRING ROLLS" , besides being $1.20 a piece, are also 98% wrapper! 2% filling. I got the "Happy Family" (Nothing is deep fried) , mine was edible. But the vegetables were not. If you order from here... make sure its NOT DEEP FRIED! Us personally will NEVER GO BACK!

Have been ordering here and they are getting progressively worse. Now you order "SPRING ROLLS" and you get "EGG ROLLS" that were nuked from the morning time! Also they tend to be a bit cheap with the dipping sauce for the somewhat ok steamed dumplings. Maybe it is the economy, maybe a bad day but they went from 3 stars to 2 stars. Hopefully things will get better. UPDATE: Contacted them about 2 minutes after food was delivered...they offered to replace with "FRESH" (their words, not mine) food IF we drive to them and bring the order...at 9:23pm. Since we ordered at 8:17pm and received our food at 9:20pm then how could it have not been fresh?

I decided to grab lunch here after dropping off a family member at the airport, and when I did a Google search for nearby restaurants, House of China was one of the "top local restaurants" with a 4.4 rating. And after my experience, I was left with a one word question: How? The service, food and facilities were nothing short of terrible. I literally could not find one thing on the buffet that was decent. Even the gentleman who sat a few booths down from me took a few bites of what he had, stood up and left. Im sincere when I say this is the worst claim to Chinese food Ive ever had.

It is sad when you have to ask a place to fill up their buffet pans so you can eat. The food was so gross. The mushrooms tasted like they had been soaked in vinegar, and the wonton chips were stale. I ended up eating french fries to fill up because it was about the only pan that had food in it!!!! NEVER again will I go here!!! The check out counter was so nasty. They had all their personal belongings thrown everywhere including a bottle of Tylenol. Who wants to see this mess???? The owners have no pride in their establishment.

Ive been there probably a total of four times every time its the same experience, its a very run-down looking abandoned place with not one person in it but every time I order the sesame chicken it comes out amazing and the same every time. the crab rangoons are also very good. Prices are a little higher than i would like, i would probably eat there more often if they were cheaper

Had General Tso which is my favorite Chinese food & the chicken had no meat. It was crunchy fried batter. The egg roll was not good, rice was the best part of the meal.. My friends got different kinds of chicken and even their chicken had no meat to it. Way to over priced for the quality of the food. Will never go again

We have visited this particular restaurant on a number of occasions. We are visitors from England and we always use this Chinese restaurant as it is located next door to the Hotel we stay in. They have a varied menu and we found the Hostess very Friendly, even recognising us as returning Guests after a gap of 4 months.
