I went to Kobe on a whim and if would be possible to give negative stars I would. We were sat very promptly and I asked for a highchair for my 18 month old son. We were given one without buckles on the straps. We had to flag someone down to get a new one. Unfortunately it got worse from here. So we ordered a bunch of sushi rolls from our server who couldnt wait to get away from our table to wait on other people since we only order water and about $35 in sushi. While we were waiting a stream of water came out from the fire suppression system all over ourselves and the table. It took a minute to flag someone down a we were moved to a different table without even a simple sorry. So after that our sushi arrived and the waitress ran away again and we were left without soy sauce or a bowl to put it in. My wife got up and grabbed one from anther table since our waitress could care less. The sushi looked nice but I took a whiff and it smelled absolute rancid. I passed on even trying some but my wife did and promptly spit it out. I got up and took my son out of his high chair and was trying to tell my waitress or someone that we would be leaving while not making a scene. Our waitress looked right at us knowing that she dropped off the food 2 minutes earlier and quickly looked away and continued on to her other customers that were obviously more important then us. That was it. I told my wife that we are leaving and nobody even looked in our direction as I walked around the entire bar trying to tell someone else that we were leaving because of the nasty food that was presented before us. This was in the top 3 worst restaurant experiences of my life and I plan on writing this review on every website that I can so that people dont get sick or have to go through what we went through. Do yourself a favor and go to any other restaurant in the world, you will be much better off.

Hands down the absolute WORST dining experience of my life, and I cant remember the last time I left a negative review anywhere. We waited an hour and a half for a few sushi rolls on a Thursday evening which was not not very busy. Stinky dirty plates from the other restaurant tables were piled up on the bar immediately in front of us all night. To top it off a few mothers were being VERY MUCH overserved alcohol in the booth behind us while their 2 children were pulling my hair and laughing about it over the very tall booths, meaning they were standing, stomping, screaming and almost knocking over my seat over and over the entire hour and a half that we waited while these moms had a great time getting drunk and laughing. There was not a shortage of wait staff either, likely too many for how slow they were. We got up and asked for our sushi to go, which has not even been started yet after an hour and a half! We waited, paid and left. Upon arriving home, the sushi was disgusting! I was hoping that the quality of the food would make up for the horrible experience. Nope! Very very dry rice, dry fish that was NOT fresh, barely any rice in the very slim sushi rolls, yellow dry wasabi, brown and spotted avocado, and dry browned pickled ginger. The whole experience was horrifying from beginning to end. DO NOT go to this restaurant! Ownership and management do NOT know the first thing about serving food or controlling alcohol consumption for health and safety, especially to mothers driving their toddlers home when they leave. An unbelievable nightmare sums it up!

Well if you find yourself at Kobes "CS Italian" Japenese Steakhouse youve been scammed like the reat of us. This place is literally the worst resteraunt ive ever been tricked into going to. My girlfriend and I stumbled across this horrible place because the name mislead us into thinking it was THEE "KOBES JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE" famous for entertainingly cooking your food right before you. We thought to try it regardless because we payed half of what the Groupon actually cost ($8.50) for $30 worth of food. We got two seaweed salads and two sushi rolls. I literally tried to go to the bathroom and force myself to throw up after eating it. The waitress never even thought to come ask us how our meal was, most likely because she was aware of how terrible it was. Aside from that she was still a terrible waitress, awkwardly lingering. We ran out as fast as we could, and will NOT be back. Return your money on Groupon ASAP.

PSSSH SUSHI = I’ve only had Sushi from the very extensive, mixed menu but each Roll I’ve had has had some unlikeable quality that didn’t make it worthy of the price tag—even with the specials. The Rolls (whether it was Jaguar, Caribbean, Spicy Girl, or Salmon) lacked a lot of the original seafood’s flavor yet was covered by wallops of overwhelming sauce or fried dough. Some combinations of seafood variety didn’t make sense together. Even the included Miso Soup and Ginger Salad looked like a last-minute, thrown together appetizer from a mass-produced store. DARK INTERIOR = During lunch, there wasn’t enough light streaming from the windows to light the place up. It was pretty dark for menu reading. At least the dark, wood décor provided some appearance of Asian royalty. GREAT SERVICE = Our young server was very smiley and upbeat throughout. She arrived at all the appropriate times to check up on us.

I have been to all the local Japanese steakhouses in the area and I must say this place ranks with the top ones I have been too. we have been here more times than i can count and each time the food is great. We request the same cook ( Sonny) every time and he never lets us down. Very entertaining and very good cook. Prices are average for this type of restaurant, however if you are going as a couple I highly recommend the Kobe special for two. You get soup, salad, rice, vegetable, noodles, and then filet mignon, chicken, shrimp and a lobster tail to share. believe me that even though you are sharing the portions, you will have a hard time finishing all that food and its under $40. I cannot comment on the sushi, as I do not eat it and I dont expect going to a japanese restaurant to get great italian food, but their habatchi is hard to beat.

I go here all the time, the staff is nice and friendly just not very fast. The hibachi is amazing especially the rice and noodles. I had a chef with a great sense of humor and he would make jokes while doing all different sorts of thing. Its an experience not just food. You might wait but its worth it. And then the sushi. Oh god the sushi. I have always gagged when I tried to eat sushi; I wanted to like it but never could get past biting into it. Until this place. The fish and rice are as smooth as peanut butter when you bite into a piece. Its so good especially the salmon!

I went to your restaurant yesterday using a groupon. The lady didnt use and charged me full price. After going up to the manager and having the do what they called fix it by changing the amount due it didnt change anything. I was charged 3 times 1 was correct for $20 I was charged the full price of the mean when I should have only been charged $17 and I was ALSO charged that $17 after the other 2 charges. I am not out $47 and no one is helping me. Told me by the end of the night it would even out and it hasnt. Worst experience ever and it was my first time there!
