Usually I am very pleased. However on this occasion it was extremely underwhelming. My fiance and I went in during overnight hours so there werent many people there. It took the cook to tell our waitress 3 seperate times to even wait on us. I ordered a very simple meal.. Chocolate chip waffle and 1 plain hash brown. She forgot my waffle, then when I asked for the waffle she told the cook to drop the wrong kind of waffle, then another server had to fix it. I got my coffee at the end of my meal after asking her four times for my coffee. All the while shes talking to a friend sitting at the bar and being very unprofessional using foul language. Yeah not the best in town... Go to the one on lumsden where they have it together. Her name on the ticket was "toast". And ironically enough the ticket itself was right, so I know it was her lack of caring that made the service so bad

Staffed argued with each other the entire time. VERY uncomfortable and embarrassing atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and when she tried to let the cooks know what to order but they just laughed and picked on her. Another waitress ended up arguing with one of the cooks and you can tell that he doesnt like his job because the whole time he was stating (LOUDLY) how he wants to quit and playing the blame game. It was horrible. Other customers were there as well and you can tell that everyone was uneasy. It was the most disrespectful thing I have seen out of employees. I asked our waitress if the manager was there and she stated that the manager doesnt do anything about the cooks at all and she has to deal with their behavior every time she goes to work. My family and I will never go back.

Superb fast customer service and wait-staff. Food is always very good here and served up fast and hot. This is easily the best breakfast restaurant here in Tampa. Ihops here are badly over-priced and dont even come close to providing the quality of service and speed that youll find at the Waffle House. Highly recommended.

Not the cleanest place to eat, for sure. Was there mid-day on a weekday, and the tables were still greasy. Ordered a burger, and I think they brushed the bun with grease from the flat-top, because it was oily with little black bits on it. The servers were actually relatively pleasant, if that redeems the place in any way.

Service was on point. Every employee knew what there job was and it was a pleasure to see people in the service industry take so much pride in the work. Pay attention other locations, customs service is about the customer, not you. Everyone benefits when you do your job well.

they werent even suppose to be open.. but they made sure they were. we had a waiter named harley & he was the sweetest. even though we just had a hurricane they were still working their butts off making sure all the customers were happy as they could be.

First experience at a waffle house where the cook was more attentive than the waitress, Alicia. She was quite busy chatting with the only other party in the restaurant and forgot the coffee. No apologies or thanks or even a greet when walking in.

50/50 chance that youll will dine- in with a pleasant or unpleasant experience. Been here few times. Last time, I even made the attempt to dine-In early mid-day seen the cook and waiters outside smoking cigarettes.I change my mind to eat their.

I was driving through the parking lot about 10 years ago and I saw the line cook putting out a fire in the trash can outside. Someone probably threw a cigarette butt in the can. Who knows. Some people just have no common sense.

I LOVE WAFFLE HOUSE. I dont know why but I have loved these Lil 24 hour breakfast joints always. The food is consistent across the board and the hash browns are the best with onion, ham, and cheese. Mmmmmmm
