We have been ordering take out from China 1 for over 8 years and have been extremely happy with the food and service over 95% of the time. We moved from Valrico to Ruskin last year and we still make the drive to Brandon because we were cannot find any other place as good. We always order the house fried rice, chicken and/or beef with broccoli, chicken wings, and fried dumplings, and lots of their hot oil. They fill their containers to almost overflowing, their house fried rice is always made fresh, and contains lots of meat! They have always been considerate and friendly despite how busy they are, and the few times we had issues, they either gave us credit for free meals, or delivered fresh orders! This is the BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN THIS AREA AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!

after moving from the northeast, I finally found a chinese restaurant worthy of calling itself ny-style. China One is a little hole in the wall in Brandon with excellent food. Try the General Tsos chicken, BBQ spare ribs or shrimp lo mein, you wont be disappointed. You can eat in, take out or have the food delivered. It is mostly a take out restaurant so the ambience may not be as nice as some other more formal restaurants but what it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in taste. also, delivery can take 45 minutes plus but it is worth it. The food is plentiful and reasonably priced.

This is my 1st ever review on any restaurant:) But I really wanted to compliment this restaurant for consistently having good fresh food ! Yes the do take long to deliver but man oh man its worth it ! Im from Atlantic City NJ where Im use to getting good Chinese food. A lot other places in FL taste like the just throw anyone in the kitchen lol but China 1 takes their time to make it right. Hopefully this helped anyone looking for good Chinese food! ps: All of their combos from Chicken - Beef taste "LEGIT" LOL & no they dont use Yellow Rice

Second time trying to order from this place. There was a mix up the 1st time, and manager promised to include ragoon in my next order. I ordered the second time and reminded her in the order within the notes. Manger didnt include it, and promised for the next time. I feel jipped especially since the orange chicken I had was horrible. This is the last time I am dealing with this resturaunt. Find another place is you want quality food, good service and timely delivery.

This place doesnt deserve a star. We have ordered here 5 times and every single time they forget something. Tonight drew a line.. I and my wife had called up there to make a complaint on them forgetting our menu item. So the guy hangs up on my wife. So I called up there. The manager is gonna sit there and argue and lie to me about not hanging up.. so now my pregnant wife gets to eat her meal cold because they wont do anything about it nor give a refund.?

I like getting my food from here but I am not fond of the white delivery driver. He was over an hour late getting our food to us. I had even called to double check if they had my number. We had had them deliver to us before with no problems from the other drivers. But apparently this guy "Couldnt find us." but the other drivers had no problem. We are good tippers and always give a little extra if they arrive earlier than we thought. He lost out.

Ive eaten here many times. Theyve always gotten our order right. This last time I called in the order while at Super Target. They told me it would take about 15 minutes. But when I got there in less than ten my order was ready. That was awesome because I was starving. Its definitely a family run place. Their children are always doing homework in the dining area in the evenings. That makes me feel good about spending my money there.

I dont get it, I ordered dinner based off of the reviews and everything was horrible. I feel bad I usually only bother to write good reviews but the food was bland, soggy, somehow the canned soda was flat. Dont bother. Everything needs more flavor. Unless they state that theyve changed the way they cook their food, do not waste your money. I might as well of ripped up my $40 and thrown it in the garbage.

First impressions are very important. I didnt even get my food yet and i already feel like its going to be bland. I felt like i was being rushed off the phone. The man was very unpleasant to talk to, and after every word i said he would respond "What Else?!" I have experience in customer service and that definitely was not good customer service. I hope my food isnt as dry as his personality.

Awful. Was told would take 45 minutes for delivery took over an hour and a half. They over charged my card and Ive bee trying to get it resolved for over a week they are very unhelpful and pretend the owner isnt ever there to speak with. And whenever I call the people working are very rude. Now they are refusing to refund. Absolute worst place I have ever been.

The quality of the food and the service is excellent! Never a wrong order. The only single reason I gave four stars instead of 5 its because we have been customers for many many years at this restaurant it seems like the amount of meat that you get in your dishes is a little less than used to be so we now actually pay to get additional meat added to our meals.

Food was pretty good! I got the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce in my opinion could of had a tad bit more flavor. The egg rolls are great! My only complaint was that it took them about an hour to deliver my food, so my chicken wasnt as crispy because of the trapped steam. But they give you a ton of food! One order can feed two people!

The food is great! I have an issue with the service. They seem to rush you off the phone, and the last 3 orders have had missing items or completely wrong order. I have tried other Chinese take out places near me but the food quality just doesnt compare to this place. Great food, poor service

China 1 is great! Every time Ive ordered from there the food is fantastic. Especially the general tso and the sweet/sour shrimp. They always include a FRESH egg roll and vegatables. Fast service and low prices. Skip all other Chinese restaurants and go directly to CHINA 1

Their food is erratic, sometimes good sometimes bland. I always order the same thing and its never been the same twice. Their little man delivery driver is rude and complains like he hates his life. Ill never have Chinese food again before I order from this place.

Tried this place for the first and last time!! Ordered the beef and broccoli. This meal was swimming in oil! I took a couple of bites and just couldnt do it anymore. In the garbage it went!! Waste of money and the hour it took to be delivered.
