it was a nice experience excluding the fact that when we arrived on a friday night after 10pm, we were told that the kitchen was closed when we asked for a menu(the lady bartender was efficient and pleasant). my husband and i were sitting at the bar until a pale short man walked over to us from behind the bar and asked how we were doing, my husband said fine and i proceded to tell the man a south park joke, the short man interrupts me and talks over me saying he would be an a**hole if he wanted to be an a**hole, i was floored that some guy had just cussed us! my husband immediately asked to speak to the manager, and this is why im writing this review AND filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the rude man said HE was the GM and that we should leave, after we finished our measly drinks we gladly agreed that we didnt want to be attacked or harrassed and got the heck out of there! im still having trouble that a restaurant will survive treating customers like that in a conservative community like Bristol TN! do not go to this place unless you want to be told you cant order food and be harrassed by the GM! unbelievable!!

My husband and I enjoy eating lunch here when we are in town and even though they are busy, they always seem to take care of us in a timely manner. The food we have had there has been very good except for grits they served with a wonderful salmon that was done perfectly. I am still giving them a 5 star bacause my dish was delicious. I had the Bakersfield Sushi. On Tuesdays they have Half Off on some of their Sushi. We were served by Shelly (who had recommended the Sushi). She also recommend the beer for me, Catawba White Zombie, that is similar to Blue Moon. Thank you Shelly. We have also tried the Thai Fish Tacos, and they are very good also. Some of the dishes are enough for two, so we sometimes share. I would highly recommend this restaurant, not so much for a family with small children, but a great place to go with a group of friends and family or just the two of you. Plus, they have a great bar and Love the atmosphere.

The food here is fantastic, absolutely no complaints there. Service is excellent and the overall atmosphere simply perfect. My one and only complaint is that they insist on having live music in a venue that was very clearly never designed for it. Brick walls and hardwood floors with nothing to absorb sound means that anything louder than a normal conversation echoes endlessly in this place. Good luck actually talking to your waitress/waiter if they have someone on the laughably small stage tucked in the back corner of the dinning area. Its painfully obvious that it was just thrown in to attract more customers with absolutely no thought to whether or not it was a good idea. So, do yourself a favor. If, as you are walking in, you hear music coming from inside; just turn around and go somewhere else.

What a pleasant surprise! We were in town on business and this was recommended by a local that we were working with. After having driven through some of the more downtrodden areas of Bristol, State St. was bustling and looked energetic. The restaurants reasonably broad menu was unexpected--some interesting variations, and again, not what I expected to find. We had a large group and the waitress was personable and efficient, and had a good working knowledge of the menu. My fish tacos were outstanding, and the various burgers, noodles, salmon and appetizers were all top notch. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

The setting and the service are great. As for the food...... Im a steak guy. I ordered the ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. What I got was an anorexic piece of meat, water drowned broccoli in a little cup and some actually decent potatoes all crammed together on a little plate. Ill stick to Quaker Steak from now on. Much better food for significantly less money. The firecracker shrimp were good though. But its hard to screw up pre-prepared breaded shrimp that only need to be deep fried and some sauce squirted on them.

I got the drunken noodles and they were amazing!!! But SPICY!!! So make sure you can handle the heat before ordering. My boyfriend got another type of stir fry that was also spicy! So ask for no spice if you have weak tastebuds like us! We also split a Cesar salad which was so so good and spring rolls were great. Our service was impeccable and Id definitely come back if I lived around this area. Sarah our waitress was so sweet and accommodating! Intimate atmosphere and cool bar area. Highly recommend this place.

We came in the entry way was clean and sleek. The music wasnt too loud. We were taken pretty quickly to our table. Our waitress was Stacey! She was super nice and knowledgeable about our questions with the menu. The sweet tea is good. I ordered the smothered chicken sandwich and my mother ordered the 620 burger without the creamy jalapeño sauce. Prices were reasonable for going to like Chilis or Olive Garden. I would recommend this place!

We came with a group of about 15 adults. The food took forever to come out and everything came out at different times. And when it did come out the food wasnt anything to write home about. The server was really sweet but she definitely needed some helping hands or something because it was just very sub par service. We drove five hours here to suprise my brother for his birthday and it was just a very disappointing experience.

Great place for those that like Chinese/Sushi. Menu okay if you are wanting something gluten or carb free. Salads will be your best bet. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Took longer than usual, but the Chef thought the chicken was overcooked and wanted to send out better. Impressed me.

Very Meh. Food was not good but service was good. Nice waitress. We had the teriyaki noodles and the Baja sushi roll. Both were very lackluster. Maybe other things on menu are good but the noodles had an odd flavor and the sushi was mostly rice and bland. Wouldnt initiate another visit.

This was my 3 rd visit, and I travel often. Nicola has given great and friendly service on each of my visits. The food has been very good and excellent bourbon menu- has become my go to spot when Im in Bristol for biusiness. Prices and quality of food and service are excellent!

Omg! Just left here, this place is ahhmazing! Me and my husband went, I got the sushi, California roll and stir Fry roll and seaweed salad, great portions, tasted ahhmazing and filled me up fast! Lol love the atmosphere of this places and the service was great! Thank you Becky!

Little pricey but you get a lot of food for what you pay for depending on what you order. The food and drinks are always great. Love their sushi night and service is great. Very attentive! The rolls are smaller than most places. I mainly go for the drunken or spicy noodles.
