I am from Miami and have been a frequent diner at the Palm for over 25 years. I can select from many great named restaurants, both old and new, but my absolute favorite is still The Palm. The service from every employee; manager, wait staff and even the bus person is always VERY FRIENDLY. The menu has so many great selections that I have trouble deciding what to order (I want one of each please!). The ambiance is also very cozy. You can dress up, or down, and still feel comfortable with both the environment and other diners. Yes, the prices are not cheap. I was meeting a blind date at The Palm, Bay Harbor Islands. My date was coming from out of town and with traffic was running an hour late. I sat at the bar with a glass of sauvignon blanc which Bobby the bartender recommended, it was a great choice. I was so nervous about my blind date that I accidently walked into the mens bathroom. Bobby made me feel very comfortable, just like family. I told him about the bathroom incident and we both had a good laugh. Bobby helped turn an akward situation into a very enjoyabe one. Everyone else was wonderful as well. I will tell everyone what a wonderful experience I had. I would love to visit the original Palm in NYC, since that is my favorite city.

I hope it was due to the holiday weekend and the chef was off. The filet mignon had a lot chewy parts that dont belong in that type of meat, it was burnt; the bernaise was like a waterdown mayo, no shallots, no tarragon, flavorless, too smooth and thin, the Brussels sprouts over cooked, the cheesecake not good either, veal Parmesan not up to standard. The three cheese potatoes were good, I wondered if they were frozen and previously made by someone else? I really hope it was just an off day because we really like this place.

Terrible service. They advertised a wine for the year 2014 but when I received it was 2015. When I brought this up to the manager, he was very rude and not accommodating. Wine prices are determined by year, someone who works in the industry should know this about wine. I would not recommend this place. Spend your money at a place that deserves your money and your time. There is a reason the location in Coral Gables closed down.

I love The Palm Restaurant!!!... The staff and management are awsome and up to point. I would like to take a moment to mention The waiter that was assigned to our table and specially Sandra the waiters assistant.. She was very helpfull with our needs and has excellent customer service. The food as usual is above par..: i will always come back just because of People like Sandra... Awsome Experience!! 5 Stars

We went in and saw that the prices were slightly high but soon found out that it was very worth it, when my younger brother told the manager (as he was making rounds to all the tables) that his steak was a little over cooked for his liking. The manager gave him an entirely new steak even after half of the original was eaten.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and we were beyond impressed with both the food and service. Everyone including management was so professional yet delightful! Our food exceeded our expectations, I would highly recommend the steak. Our server Antonio was so much fun! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

This is our 2nd time coming to the Palms in Bal Barbour and they never disappoint. Our first experience we were served by Juan and our second by George and they were both exceptional along with the restaurants delicious tasting food. Thank you to Michael for always making our visit a good one

We had family in from out of town and wanted them to experience fine dining at its best. The linguine in clam sauce has to be the best I have ever experienced. The staff and service superb!! As always Michael and his team make it an excellent dining event every time.!!

It would have been nice if you had posted you were closed to redo floors. It could have saved us a trip. We traveled 30 miles to find out you were closed.
