I have been here a few times. The atmosphere is very casual. I kep meaning to try their pizza, but I am always swayed by their selection of very authentic italian food. The main dishes I have had have been wonderful! I have yet to be disappointed. I am told they use al fresh ingredients from local farmers. This is a big plus for me! Salad dressings are even made in house, I love their Blue Cheese! Bread is made in house fresh...Yum! But make sure you save rom for the Ghost Cake! Great quality at very reasonable prices! The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is the decor could use some sprucing up. (It isnt a white tablecloth type of place, but the fod is great!)

I took my son to get a bite for lunch on Saturday. I thought we would try out this Italian place we hadnt ever been to. What a great little gem. It reminds me of a place you would see in New York. Very quaint and cozy. My son ordered the strombolli with pepperoni and garlic. He ordered the large, and that was ok, because he could make a second lunch out of it. It was amazing. I ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage. It too was delicious. I still have leftovers. Everything is made in house, including the dough. This is our new hang out when we want Italian!

The restaurant is run by the cutest couple I have ever met. The four of us had a serving of desert followed by pizza. We had the sweetest server who explained every single detail of our meal(including an explanation of what each layer of the each cake was), bought our food right away and gave us suggestions on which other nearby springs we should consider visiting. Every piece of cake was delicious. Since the place was empty, later the chef also stopped by, chatted with us for a few minutes and left us alone when we got busy eating the delicious Chicago style pizza.

GREAT GREAT homemade pizza! The crust was superb and the toppings plentiful! We had the deluxe and it was delicious! Super quaint atmosphere....not too loud so you could carry on a nice conversation. Surprisingly a great array of decadent homemade desserts. We had the coconut cream pie and the piece was HUGE! The owner and his sweet wife were around making sure that everyone was being taken care of. The menu had an array of other items but we came with pizza on our mind! Cant wait to go back and try something else from this great Apopka restaurant!

Forget the big McPasta restaurants... forget the chains.... this is the real deal. Outrageously good food (have ordered practically the entire menu and zero disappointments) -- everything prepared onsite (except the pasta, but its first rate pasta), friendly service -- be patient because everything is cooked to order but it is worth it. Reasonable prices and LARGE portions. And dont pass the home-baked desserts. If you are a culinary explorer this is the mother lode.

We dropped in on a late Friday afternoon after Id had a horseback riding lesson around the corner (Trademark Equestrian = awesome). The owner of the riding facility recommended Pastavinos so we decided to give it a shot. The portions are enormous and the food is scrumptious. The calzone’s had a puff pastry quality to the breading that was really something special. Really friendly staff. Great desserts! Completely recommend it.

Had the Chicago Pizza Last time, Have Had the White Pizza, and The New York, and ... and.... yes! Delicious! Family owned, Family operated, Chef is super accommodating, and very hospitable. Authentic Italian , and not only the pizza and pastas, ... great Salads as well! So, it is actually possible to eat healthy! Thank you for the great service! We will be back (Again)

The owners cook and bake everything themselves. Their lunch menu has really good prices and portions are big enough. I can say they were absolutely friendly, and helpful when we asked about information on the springs nearby. They served my coffee in the most darling cup sets ever. I would highly recommend. MUST try their homemade cheesecakes!!!

Pastavino is run by directly by the couple that owns they place. For those from the North East (NY, NJ) you will feel at home. They make all of their own bread and desserts, you will want to order the Ghost cake, even if you usually swear off desserts. The prices are very low, a whole family could eat there for a very reasonable price.

If you think big name chains are the way to go, think again. My wife and I had the best dining experience weve ever had tonight here. The food was absolutely amazing, and very well priced with huge portions. We will definitely count on this place to get our Italian fix!!!

I always come here with my large group of 7-8 family members! The people working there are wonderfully nice, hardworking and just a blast to be around! I always tell my friends about them and adore going there for my familys Sunday lunch. Plus, their deserts rock!

this is Apopkas best-kept secret! Had their pastrami sandwich yesterday and it was incredible. If you want ambiance (and an empty wallet) go to the fancy restaurants, but if you want fabulous food at a reasonable price, you really need to try this place

I have eaten at Pastovinos many times and find the staff very friendly, helpful and respectful. Their food is OUTSTANDING! Best pizza I ever had; and their Dream Cake is "to die for"! Everything I have had there is delicious! They are "like family".

Love this place! Food is amazing and at a great price! Everything is fresh and made in house, even bread! The owner/chef will come and talk to you while you eat, overall its a wonderful small restaurant! Oh I almost forgot best desserts in town!

The Calzone had one of the best crusts Ive had. It was very light and flaky. All of the ingredients were very fresh, especially the Greek Salad. The Chocolate Pie was freshly made and delicious. The owners were extremely family friendly.

I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken, for about $15 dollars. What I got was a salad with sliced ham and a few pieces of reheated, over cooked chicken. It was awful! Never again will I waste my money.

Well the food is pretty good, the desserts are very questionable. No effort has been put in to the upkeep of the building. So my sujestion is to have delivered or phone in the order and pick up.

Food is usually good but the service is horribly unprofessional, especially for delivery. Half the time they have to call you back to confirm they got the order right.
