After going to a slightly disappointing at best Korean fast casual spot in the city, my Monday night dinner buddy and I had low expectations for BAB Korean Fusion, but we were pleasantly surprised. Heres why: 1) The service: The man at the cashier was super friendly and very helpful. He gave us recommendations and even brought our food to our table. 2) The food: I ordered bulgogi, white rice, and Southeast veggies and it was perfect. It comes with a friend egg, an avocado, and a lime to squeeze on your rice. Its the perfect amount leaving you content. 3) The atmosphere: Theres plenty of wall and window seating and a fun chalk board across the wall seating. 4) The quirks: They sell a variety of other fun goods from Korea like banana chips, barley tea, and small yogurt drinks. If you need a quality fast casual spot on H Street, consider BAB Korean Fusion!

Love this place after a long night. Usually just grab a ramen with added veggies and a barley tea (great for hangovers). If you call ahead you can shorten the wait time (which I would suggest - if you order at the counter it can take a bit). They are also on grub hub and uberEATS so thats an option too - hope they keep changing up their menu as it keeps the place fresh in my mind for trying new things.

I wanted to like this place more. I got the tofu with "backyard" veggies. Not a bad bowl of food, but very generic. The Korean food trucks in DC are much better. The one stand out? Their house made "kocwchung" sauce. Gives sriracha a run for its money.

The service alone I just received deserves 5 stars. Havent even eaten yet! But the very handsome very kind young man who took my order was cordial and patient. A true pleasure. And yeah, food smells amazing as I am heading back to the hotel.

Same owner as Tonys and to be honest, both are hidden gems. Just got our food from Babs and the staff are crazy nice and helpful while the owners are in the back taking care of your order. 2 thumbs up guys. Thanks!

Sometimes you just want good simple food. The rice bowl I had really hit the spot. A wonderful blend of flavors with just enough heat to make it interesting. Staff was very friendly. Nice place!

Clean and friendly place but the food is extremely over priced for the bowl of greasy kimchi rice and just a few pieces of bulgogi beef. Not much flavor.
