First time in and the smell was like a warm blanket before I entered. Once in the staff was polite and helped me with my order quickly. At 1030 it wasnt busy at all. I ordered the Maple Bacon Donut and let me tell you...well before I say that I will say I sampled a Donut that was on the counter some sugar Donut concoction... melted in my freaking mouth! I was sold immediately. Then once I got my hands or should I say knife and fork in the maple bacon Donut I was in heaven. It was everything youd want in a donut. Lol Yummy, fresh, warm, delicious, and decadent. The bacon was amazing, the frosting the perfect amount of sweet. I live about 30 mins from here but I will be slinking back to this side of town to snag another yummy treat. Made my day....

The most delicious donuts in the area. That is a fact, not opinion. They are made to order fresh, not sitting in a bin for gosh knows how long. Staff is always friendly. They do offer other items rather than donuts like coffee and drinks, but the donuts are the star here. Its located on a busy main street in Newark so parking is usually paid (a few quarters in the machine), and busy if you dont get there early. Get up early, stop by and grab a donut (or 6) and a coffee. Then go for a walk in one of the great local parks. Cant get any better than that.

These are the donuts youre looking for. We popped in here during a recent trip and I will be back any time Im nearby. What an amazing place. The donuts are all fresh and hot and you can a variety of toppings and sauces on them. We were totally clueless so I asked the lady working there for some recommendations. She totally steered us right. The maple bacon donuts are fantastic, as are the lemon coolers. You need to visit Duck Donuts if you have a chance. Super friendly, fast, delicious, good quality, and the place seemed very clean.

Now thats a good donut! Ive been wanting to try this place out for a while since Ive seen so many Yelpers rave about it. Definitely a beautifully constructed donut; really moist on the inside with a little crispiness on the outside, and its not overly sweet. Im not a fan of the ambiance. When you first walk in it feels more like a duck souvenir shop than a donut shop. Bright blue walls arent that appealing either.

Excellent donuts that are always fresh, warm, and served with a bright and friendly smile from the upbeat employees. The establishment is clean and welcoming. I was elated once this new eatery came to downtown Newark and gave tough competition to the long-reigning champ of Dunkin Donuts and the overrated Krempy Kreme. Ive enjoyed my visits and duck donuts every time that I patronized the store!

I called from my car and asked if they could have 3 dozen assorted donuts ready in 10 minutes due to a last-minute change in plans. They said they could make it work, and they did! 3 people worked on my order, and they were all so nice about it. The donuts were still warm when I got them to work, and my colleagues were thrilled. The donuts are fresh and delicious. I drive all of the way from Maryland just to get these delicious tasty treats. The service is friendly. The I dont usually get their cofee, I did last time and its ok. I love all of the selections for toppings as well. My absolute favorite donut is their maple bacon. Yumm! Never disappoints...

I was totally surprised when I stopped in here. Their create your own donut idea is fun and delicious. The staff were all very patient when I was fumbling while making my order. The seats give a great view to the busy main Street so there is plenty of people watching to do. All in all one of my new favorites in town.

I love this place because they make the best donuts I have ever tasted. I have been to their flagship store in Duck NC and lost my mind when I heard they were opening a location 8 minutes from house. I cant say anything else but they are nice when I visit and my kids go nuts trying to decide on which flavor to get.

Tasty doughnuts topped fresh to order. These are cake / old fashioned style donuts with really good frosting and topping options. The people are super friendly and the store is spotless. The chocolate frosting is more like fudge (in a good way), but try the maple frosting with bacon - simply incredible.

Great Donuts and breakfast sandwiches, the options can be a little overwhelming but they have a great menu board of options the staff recomends and it is easy to get chocolate with sprinkles. The donuts are really hot off the presses made to order and they were still warm after a half hour drive home.

Better then some "other" donut shops, they may not have a variety of filled donuts, but they make up for it in variety of glazes, toppings and drizzled. I highly recommend trying the Maple Bacon donuts. It goes very well with coffee and tastes like a breakfast of pancakes and bacon.

Fresh, made-to-order donuts in wonderful flavors that change seasonally. I would highly recommend the blueberry glaze, or the maple glaze with bacon topping. The staff are really friendly, and there is a variety of seating. For $1.40 for a hand-crafted donut, you cant beat it.

The only difficulty is parking and it can get crowded, but worth it. Those were some of the best donuts ever. They made them fresh while I waited and made me a "bucket" of 18 donuts in a variety one at a time. The variety was amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

Love this place. My favorite is the maple bacon donut but theyre all good. Its hard to think of tasty combos in my mind so I just use the "specials" list they display. I recommend working your way through those and then youll find out your favorite.

Great place, will always be one of my favorites, but the staff arent the most social and when I came, my donuts were not as fresh as they usually are. Though we did come in around 1, I was still hoping for a donut that didnt taste slightly heated up

All cake donuts! Nooooooooooo. Only great if you eat them while hot. After that, they are a very dense cake that overwhelms any topping on it. When hit and fresh four stars. But with just cake donuts this falls way short of great.
