I have been in cleaner pig stys I cant believe people would continue to eat at this place! First, there were several dirty dishes left on the tables, we thought ok, thy just had a mad rush and were a little behind..... Second they sat the 5 of us at a table that was a good size for two, 4 could have fit and they could have pushed a table closer to make more room. But no.... Third, with 3 under 3 year olds in the restaurant they ran out of highchairs ... Fourth, the mens bathroom was horrible! There was no toilet paper, the floor was a mess, one of the urinals was caution taped off. At least there was running water, soap, and paper towels! I flipped the switch for service and went back to my table to order and eat, I checked an hour later after we were done, the switch was still flipped and nothing had been done... There was actually some poo floating in the toilet... I wonder what they wiped with.... (see pictures) The wait for our order was about 20 minutes, a little longer than I would expect for pancakes and eggs... The sunny side up eggs were uncooked on top and burnt on the bottom, the pancakes were uncooked in the middle. Other than that the brick of potatoes tasted good with catsup however the bacon was done quite well. My two strawberries and cream crepes came out as 1 crepe.... When the waiter finally cleared the table beside us he brushed the straw papers and pits of food to the carpet where it was quickly trampled (see pictures) This was my first experience with an IHOP it will be my last...

Everytime, every single time I go there, I have to wait soo long to just place an order. Just now I wanted to place a to go order on the phone, she said "wait a second" I was on hold for 5 minutes. This is my third time wanting to get something there. First time, everything was fine, the place was empty at like 5pm when I went there with friends, and I think the owner was also there. Second time, I was waiting at the counter for 5+ minutes to place a to-go order. 3rd time, this is the bad one. I happen to be black. So I was waiting at the counter for 5+ minutes, and there was a lady, knowing full well, that I was waiting to be attended too. So I am waiting 5+ minutes and then these 2 white college-age girls come in, and all of a sudden, she calls someone over to take their order. I was pissed but I hid it, when the waitress got there, she was confused as to who to take first, and I told her I was waiting like 5 minutes, she was shocked, she sat me, and everything was fine from then on, but I was pissed. The 4th time, I was on hold on the phone for 5 minutes. Ive had enough, The food isnt even that good, I just dont know any other good breakfast joints around here, time to start looking. Never again, this IHOP sucks. Now I am not sure if it is the color of my skin, or the service there is just horrible all the time. But I am done with it.

This was my first time at this iHop and it was the WORST! My friend and I wanted to get an order to go. The girl told us to stand by the register, so we did. They were busy so we understood we had to wait. A lot of other people were coming in and signing their names on the list. She was totally ignoring us for the longest time as we were standing right in front of her. All she had to do was take our order or get someone to do it. She didnt even give us a menu to look at as we waited when she had a pile of them right next to her! We waited 20 minutes and we were just completely ignored! It was also really hot in there and filthy so my friend and I just left and went in my car. We decided to call them and order instead because the one girl was such an airhead it seemed! We called the number we had to call to order and it was busy. So we waited a little then called again. Once again it was busy. We were waiting and trying for another 20 minutes, it still was busy. We were super angry so we went to Weis and bought stuff to make pancakes. Never go here, its disgusting and the people who work there are just rude.

The first thing that should have warned us to turn around and leave was the fact someone was zip tying to front door handle together. After we were seated our waiter came and took our drink order right away, no issues with our waiter at all. While we were waiting for our order to come out, Valentina proceeded to yell at new trainee Adam in front of one half the restaurant. Very rude and belittling of everything he was doing. All this while she was chewing her gum like a cow chews it cude. Very unprofessional, very ignorant and the least capable person to teach anyone anything. There was also an older gentleman who was cleaning off tables and leering and staring at people the entire time. He was leaning over the railing while everyone was eating making it very uncomfortable to even have a conversation with my husband. This will be the last time we come here and I will be encouraging others to not go to the IHOP either.

The waitress (very nice lady) apparently made an error with my order, and unfortunately I didnt check my food before leaving as I was in a hurry. I didnt discover the mistake until I got home and my hungry self was about to dig into the food. I called the restaurant immediately to let them know. The manager was super nice! He acknowledged their error, apologized and politely asked if I could come back and pick up the correct order. Although my house was 10 mins away, I had quite a craving for the crepe I ordered, so I drove back. The manager came to attend to me himself and apologized again. He then graciously gave me a $5 coupon for my next visit. He was so polite and cordial; I wish I had asked for his full name so I could give him a recommendation (visit was AM of 3/22/17). Id definitely be back if only for the superb customer service I was given. By the way, the food was great as usual!

Me and my gf had stopped in for a quick bite to eat the other night.. one of the worst experiences me and her have ever had with any restaurant.. we waited like 5 minutes to be seated! Restaurant was not busy at all! There was like 5 other people there that was already seated and eating.. workers was blasting music in the kitchen.. host seen us standing and paid no mind to seating us.. she had her manager do it.. once seated, the service of the waitress was horrible!! Could not even get a simple refill on my drink.. nobody was welcoming at all.. it all seemed like fun and games with these people.. a lot of inappropriate words shouted out and just nobody doing their job.. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE COME TO THIS LOCATION!! Highly reccommend anybody to stop by the Allentown location! You will get much better service there!
