I have been to the shamrock a number of times and the service and food have always been top notch , that being said I brought and old friend from out of state to grab a bit to eat, arrived at 6:45, asked to sit a a table looking outside, the very polite waitress came to take out drink order and in the middle of asking us, the hostess came over and interrupted her mid order and told us rather rudely I might add, that that table was being held for an 8 oclock reservation and we could not sit there unless we hurried up, I found her tone rather rude, we moved our table, while we were waiting for our food, she seated a couple at the table we were at and stopped at ours to tell us the reservation had been changed to 9 and we could of sat there. The food came and it was good as usual, no sooner had we finished eating than the overbearing hostess came over and asked us if we were done as she needed the table someone else and bitched about hating nights when bands played, so in short, the food was good , our waitress was great, but the hostess was rude and condescending, at least my buddy can go home with a story about the horrible hostess

Dont even bother. You set up a reservation for 50 people and they promise you certain tables and when you get there 3/4 of the space you were promised is taken by people that "just got their food". Complete B.S. All they do is lie to get your business. Dont trust them. Take ur business elsewhere. And to those that think we just made a reservation. No we prepaid for $1000 worth of food and booze and they still treat us like crap. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The meatloaf (yes MEATLOAF!) Was the stuff of dreams. Im not even into meatloaf. Look at this pic. The brown grazy was made fresh with pints of guiness beer. Not salty or anything. Mozzarella cheese, slice of ham, no onion in meat, over awesome mashed potatoes, and side of spinach. Bar tender was awesome. Knew everything about menu and every persons name at bar.
