I stopped here for dinner and ordered the Shrimp Ala Applewood. The lobster bisque was delicious but the shrimp in my entree was very overcooked to the point of being inedible. I pshed my plate away with the shrimp still on it. The waitress asked if I wanted a box for take home and I told her that the shrimp was very over cooked and extremely chewy. She apologized. When the check came I was charged the full price for the entree even tough the main protein for that course had been inedible.

Horrible service. The waitress was uniformed and didnt know what she was doing. She would grab out plate and as it was in her hands ask if you were done or not. She was also very rude when it came to handing things to people or reviving them, she would reach to the other side of the table and not say excuse me or ask for it just reached over and grabbed it. I would not suggest this place to anyone

Took over 20 minutes to get a high chair. Wait staff was very rude about getting the seat for my son too. Meals came with soup but it was never recieved. When asked after our meal was recieved they said they ran out and we got nothing. We asked if they could deduct some money off the bill and they refused. Likely wont be going back any time soon.

Applewood is the best "diner"-type place in the Bristol area. Service is always nice, food is good, and the place is clean. Nearly every other diner in the area (Dennys, Luizas, Goldrock, New Britain Diner) has made me feel sick at one point, but thats NEVER happened at Applewood. Applewood is always my top choice for late-night food!

Music is too loud....waitresses arent very friendly....they look like their walking on egg shells...the owner is phony....i heard him talking to one of the girls & his tone of voice was so pushy....he also runs them ragged....long shifts with oy one person on...meaning they dont get a decent legal break

Food wasnt bad and the staff are friendly. However, the time from placing the order to getting the food could use some improvement . Very dark interior, waiting for a table when there were three + seats available. All in all good not great; prices are a little high, other than that good.

One of tge nastier diners around. Bristol doesnt have much unfortunately, and Applewood doesnt help. The interior is very old and dirty. The food is all just disgusting frozen pre-made. Its been this way as long as I can remember 15+ years.

Excellent meals at reasonable prices. Always leave very satisfied. Todays turkey, stuffing, gravey, potato and veggies delightful. Husbands Yankee pot roast very tasty also. Highly recommend for casual atmosphere and home cooked meal taste.

They were so incredibly rude to me when I refused their fried "jumbo" shrimp that tasted like dishwasher... and then gave me mushy zucchini fries. Were belligerent and unprofessional. Not worth the price.

Service is always terrible whever I go there. And beware, what you pay for is what you get, if its cheap...its cheap...rather drive Southing and get Dennys ... which hopefully says a lot
