Never EVER going back. BBQ??? Everything on the menu was either fried (most of it), rotisserie or flat top grilled. Wheres the BBQ? The chicken was overcooked and dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like it came from a microwave dinner. The coleslaw looked regurgitated. My husband had to choke the chicken down with the gravy. Were a little bit foodie-ish and try new restaurants all of the time... this was a huge disappointment.

The staff are very friendly and the food is always made fresh. The ribs slow cooked are the best and the fry chicken is also great made fresh while you wait. I have brought friends there and they all come back for more. The only thing that they are missing is my macaroni and cheese and my cake they they would be great . go check it out you will enjoy your self

Eat there for the first time last weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the 3 piece chicken dinner with fries and it was tasty. My wife had the chicken parm sandwich which was huge. My inlaws were with us and we all enjoyed our meals. I want to try the ribs and hot wings next time.

CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE HEN HOUSE. OR THE HEN HEEZY AS I LIKE TO CALL IT. SERIOUSLY CHICKEN NUGGETS ARE BEST YOULL EVER HAVE. GRILLED CHEESE AND CHIX NOODLE SOUP WHEN YOUR NOT FEELING WELL. LOVE THE HEN HEEZY

We drive all the way from East Hartford just for their Ribs and Chicken!! Very friendly staff who does a constant check up on you to see if youre ok. Very very clean place. Great prices.. (Jose and Alex)

There was hair in the bbq chicken my mother in law ordered. and the manager blame it on her that it was her hair he was unapologetic wont eat there ever again the waitress was no better

Dont be dissuaded by the restaurants worn, rundown appearance -- the fried chicken is good and the staff are lovely people. Deviled eggs & pickled beets are fan, too.
