Food and atmosphere is fine, service is lousy. I dont like to rate so low after one visit, maybe was just an off night for the wait staff, but it was terrible. Expect to wait for everything. We called to make reservations and were told they dont take reservations for parties of four or smaller. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and watched a party of four walk in after us and claim their reservation. Ok... Once seated, waited fifteen minutes for the one waitress in the restaurant to take our drink order, and another ten to get the drinks. Another fifteen for her to return and take our order. The food took over half an hour to arrive. The bartender came to our table to refill drinks because the waitress was nowhere to be found. After we had finished, we had to wait before the waitress checked on us again. We were going to order dessert, but didnt want to commit to another hour. We had a running joke to see how many innings of a baseball game we could get through before the server reappeared. After we got the check, the server never returned. We had to go back to the bar to pay because the waitress again would not pay attention to us. Extremely disappointed.

60 seconds from the outlets, 90 seconds from the offramp, this place has been a real gift to the town. Whats the food like? According to the owner, the most popular item on the menu is "The Figgy Stardust" a fig, prosciutto, gruyére, and gorgonzola. If that seems a bit unorthodox to you, they also have fantastic wings, fantastic brisket, and a polenta bruschetta that looks and smells so good youll decide you need to come back just for that, since you already ordered when it came out to the next table to taunt you. They have a full bar, good selection of local craft beers, and knowledgeable employees. They can and do offer suggestions to make your particular substitutions even better, and explain to you exactly why the upsell is well worth it. The atmosphere fits with the food, a fusion of the traditional and the unorthodox, old fashioned quality in a modern presentation. And the prices? Good enough for the locals who dont live in big houses to afford it as more than just a special occasion.

First time visitor today....stopped by for lunch not realizing it was a welcoming sit down environment. I only had 20 min left on my break, so rather than rush, I took a menu to go and returned to work. After viewing the menu, I knew I needed to revisit....I did just that upon leaving work that evening and WOW! An amazing atmosphere that is welcoming and a menu that offers some not so "cookie cutter items"!......I took some "green chicken chili" home with me and I can tell you right now, it was, and still is..(portion big enough for two small meals).....absolutely amazing! By far, the best I have ever tasted! I did meet the chef,( forgive me, I dont recall his name), however, a very genuine individual with a passion for cooking! Wait staff and bartender Jake were very pleasant and accommodating. A definite do over! Try it, youll be back, for sure!

Stopped here for a salad and pizza, on our way to the outlets. Service was great, and the food was phenomenal. My fiancé ordered the "Bernard" pizza, which was a white broccoli raab and sausage pizza, as well as their French onion soup. The pizza was literally the best pizza I have ever had, no exaggeration. The French onion (besides my mother in laws) was also great. We will be sure to stop here every time we are in the area. You wont be disappointed.

This restaurant is amazing! My wife and I had the best pizza and salad - Clockwork Orange pizza and Beet Down salad. Jeff and Charles were very welcoming and super customer-focused. They offered us suggestions (go for the smoked chicken breast on your salad) and everything tasted incredible! A charming atmosphere, an extensive and very pleasing menu and superb staff! WHATS NOT TO LOVE?!

Ordered 3 sandwiches to go. Was told 15 minutes. Waited 45 minutes. Never told me they where sorry. Nothing. Just charged full price. The only reason they get 3 stars is. The food was amazing!!! I give credit where credit is do.

This place never ever disappoints. The "Risk it for the Brisket " pizza is so good you have to close your eyes..Excellent beer selections and the staff is ALWAYS so nice!!! Great outdoor seating area also :)

While a little small this is the most Charming restaurant in Clinton Connecticut. The food is great but the service is very slow. If they go under it will be because they cant get drinks out fast enough.

We found this while driving to the Clinton outlets. I had the pasta buffalo. It was rich and delicious. My wife had the ribs which I tried, they were also outstanding. We will definitely be back.
