Bought ONE Corona from this place last night. I opened a tab b/c I thought we were staying longer but we left after one drink. They charged me $16 for the Corona. So I figure they made a mistake on the charge but the bartenders were busy and my friends were leaving so I let it slide...I signed the slip but didnt leave a tip. Next day, I check my bank account and the charge came through as $19.80. So not only did they charge me $16 for one beer, they added a tip after i clearly did not leave one. If youre going to this dump, bring cash.

My co-workers told me how much they loved the Zen Bar, but since I live in Manchester I didnt get the chance to check it out till last night. Simply a home away from home. Felt safe, clean atmosphere and everyone was so nice and down to earth. I felt like I was in Bostons version of Cheers. Everyone knew everyone and if you were new you were made to feel like family. Also, loved the pool tables. Keep up the great job!

Zen Bar attracts a crowd (not too large) during the week and a decent weekend crowd. The owner is extremely personable and attentive. Good beer selection. I havent tried their food but several patrons were eating and enjoying their appetizers. Karaoke just about everyday if thats your thing. If youre in the Plainville, CT area and are looking for a place to throw a few back, Zen Bar is a great place to go.

If you ever happen to visit plainville, do not bother coming to this place. The service was horrible. With a hint of racism towards my hispanic friend. The food was terrible, as from being from philadelphia, Id rather eat at home. To anyone visiting plainville, omit this establishment.

They recently fired their professional chef and reverted to the old menu. Dont buy any food! Get subway on your way and eat it in the parking lot. Current menu is over priced and the food is not worth the money.

A fun dive bar, with happy hour snacks, pool table, and trivia machines. Theres even a smokers deck, and you can take your drinks out there.
