The reviews may be great, but not for me. yesterday I had a bad experience!, Yesterday was my birthday, I went to Ruby Tuesday for a takeout for my family and I. The service I received was not good customer service. I sat at the bar waiting for the host to finish sweeping, and washing dishing and ect... to place my take out my order. I tried calling ahead to place my order but the host was to busy to accommodate, what my family wanted, all she could say to me is " we cant do that" ( keep in mind readers every time i order from Ruby Tuesday my order is alway over $100.00) I was a little vexs as I watched the other host/ servers socialize with there coworkers / friends. I got up and proceed to leave as I observed the manager with his own personal conversation, with a women and her child. I excused myself and asked him where was the nearest Ruby Tuesday. He proceeded to take his phone out to look up where the nearest / closet, Ruby Tuesday was, But could not spell Hamdan Ct. He responded by saying I think the closest Ruby Tuesday is Bristol CT. I thanked him and left. Once in my car I found a Ruby Tuesday in Cromwell CT. When I reached that Ruby Tuesday, the customer service was beyond my expectation, considering what I received from the Meriden Ruby Tuesday. Not once did the manager in Meriden, ask if he could help me. He was " knee deep in his conversation with the women." The manager in Meriden Ruby Tuesday appeared to be happy to refer me to another Ruby Tuesday. To close this review I spent 117.00, plus a tip, in two towns over. I guess the business in my town where I pay high taxes , " dont need money". "I could us the extra. " P.S. Crowell made my order the way, I wanted it for 3.00 dollars more. It was worth the drive. Hello we are in a time where if consumer dont buy we dont get paid and hours are cut." Am I wrong reader " unhappy customer. ALL I WANTED TO DO, IS CHANGE CHICKEN TO BEEF IN ONE OF THE MEALS.

I ordered the Petite Sirloin with “mashed” potatoes and broccoli. The meat was obviously just micro-waved to thaw it out and it had a metallic taste to it. The “mashed” potatoes was nothing more than a poor spin off for instant potatoes. I actually think that store bought instant potatoes would have tasted better. The broccoli was the only thing that tasted what it should have tasted like. This is the first and only R.T. I’ve ever gone to that they serve you a single slice of bread with your meal, no butter offered. All the others I’ve gone to actually give you heated rolls with butter without having to ask. I don’t know what food people in Connecticut expect, but being from Virginia, this Ruby Tuesday would have closed their doors long ago. The bar service was good and prompt; however, the person that orders the food and the people that cook the food should find themselves another job. I travel a lot and this place is by far the worse I’ve had the misfortune of having to spend money in.

The representation for this restaurant is appalling. After complaining multiple times about the rude behavior of their management staff, the company could not so much as respond to any emails regarding my experience. While a waitress was helping me, a manager, without a word of apology, pulled her away to clean a table, leaving myself and my date waiting to get our questions answered and place our order. The manager then walked by us without any acknowledgment what so ever, leaving the waitress to apologize profusely in his stead. Weve also had a problem with the same manager regarding the roach and fruit fly problem, which their corporate offices still refused to respond to when complained to directly. Its completely unacceptable.

Today Fathers Day, the waitress was exceptable. We usually visit Ruby Tuesday 3to5 times a month and receive good service but today we had a new waitress. She was relatively Young but she was there for whatever we needed when we needed it. She was very kind and generous of spirit. I really enjoyed having her wait on my family. BTW food good as usual.

Went to Farmington CT., asked for manager "Orlando",he refused to even come and speak with me. Wanted to complain about a promotion I was using and didnt know I couldnt get until after ordered and eaten... Bill was paid but a horrible manager... Would love to hear from someone. Tried to contact headquarters, but NO number available!!!!

Located in the Mall. Not too crowded food is good, service is great. Ive sat at the bar and a table same great environment. Management always concerned for your well being which is nice, some places just dont care.
