Black Truffle
In my opinion, the restaurant by which all other Italian places in at least a 25 mile radius should be judged. They have been consistent in putting out good food for years, I cant say Ive ever had a bad meal here. They offer a fairly large menu. Ordinarily that would make me nervous because it can be hard to do many things well, but they pull it off. Im not a calamari fan but really like how they do it, lightly breaded, good texture. Ossobuco, rissoto, and the gnocchi really stand out for me too. The only fault I can find is that their cocktail selection could be a bit stronger, even if they just did some well made classics. Dessert wise, my bananas foster could have had more banana, and Id like to see some bread pudding on there, but none of this detracts much from an otherwise great meal. There are some staff who have been there a long time, they seem to care, and you can see they remember their customers. Been here many times and will definitely be here many more.

Foods not 4.3 stars. Only eat here when Im in town once a year. Last year was not any better than this year. Asked the staff if the chef was cooking tonight. They said yes. Asked if he was a trained chef and " I dont know" "I dont think so" well the food shows that hes not a chef. I feel bad for the guy. Rack of lamb butchered and not in a good way. I wont be eating here for the rest of my stay this week and wont make my self suffer next year. The staff is great!

In the busiest intersection of Farmington you may find this oasis of Italian cuisine. Extended menu of pastas, brick oven pizza, “botanas”, steaks and tapas accompanied with a more than average wine selection. A little on the pricy side but the environment, food quality and personal service will make you come back for another special occasion.

Went for dinner meeting. Service was very good. Appetizers above average. Salmon entrée was disappointingly over cooked and dry. Background noise from bar area and other patrons made it difficult to hear lecture. Average experience, food was not impressive enough that I would return on my own dime.

The service is good, food apparently is a mixbag from people that I have talked. I myself didnt have any problem at all my food was really good. The two ladies beside me, one had a problem with her appetizers, she didnt like it at all the other didnt have a problem.

Dont get the pizza! And dont be fooled by the high reviews--this place has manhattan prices for mediocre at best food. Pizza was as hard as a cracker and I can honestly say Ive had better pizza in hospital cafeterias.
