The place in the Upper Valley for midrange dining. Three Tomatoes is famous in the area for their "chickens of wine," lovely carafes of wine painted to look like roosters (watch out--the wine comes out of the beak!). Their food is high quality and they are a member of the Vermont Fresh Network, which means that they partner with local farms and producers in their food preparation. Theres selections for every palate, and everyone in your party will undoubtedly find something to enjoy. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that their prices have increased as their portions have decreased over the past year or so, which has made Three Tomatoes in to less of an every week destination and more of a special occasion restaurant. But, on that special occasion you will enjoy the best Italian food in New Hampshire and Vermont, hands down.

Three Tomatoes is our hometown restaurant - its conveniently located on the mall in Lebanon and the food is always excellent. I am gluten-sensitive, and they offer both gluten free pasta and pizza so I can indulge my Italian menu yearnings guilt-free. Be sure to check out the specials - always different and inspired by local produce and products. The atmosphere is upbeat bistro - tile floors, choice of booths or tables, and, recently, a new bar that is great gathering place for locals. In the winter, theres nothing cozier than sipping a glass of wine next to the brick oven - and in the summer, al fresco dining *almost* makes you feel as though youre in bella Italy.

Last Wednesday my sister-in-law and I had lunch at 3 Tomatoes. The service was excellent as well as the food. Of course, we had to have the bread along with the oil & garlic before our meal!! The panini with sausage, onions and green pepper covered with melted cheese was so good. Well have to go back to try the other choices--it took us 15 minutes to narrow the choices down. We will definitely go back. A five star rating.

Have been going here at least monthly for nearly 2 years. Have always been very pleased with the attentive service, atmosphere, and authentic food. Wonderful thin crust pizza. Ive traveled to Italy several times. They handle special requests quite well. Im originally from San Francisco where my mother was for many years reviewed Bay Area restaurants for Gourmet Magazine. A local favorite. Lucky to have them in Lebanon.

Slow service and pretentious atmosphere. Wait staff seems to try, but trouble seems to be with the kitchen or management. Food is okay on one or two dishes, like the pizza, but not great. Over priced for what it is. Go across the street to the Salt Hill Pub and have a great stew and homemade blackberry cobbler, better prices and much better service.

We come up from Bedford to spend time with our son, daughter in law and 6 year old grandson ho live in Lebanon and have dined at your restaurant many times. Always a good meal and great service, but we all miss the panna cotta desert, why did you stop serving this desert, a favorite of ours especially my grandson?

The absolute worst dining experience ever. Waited 30 minutes for a drink, twice during same visit, underage minor at the table was served an alcoholic drink, and when we spoke to the manager she said "I dont care. Report me". Will NEVER go here again. Such poor service and disrespect from manage. Inexcusable!

A warm and inviting restaurant right on the green in Lebanon. A good wine list and a menu of delicious entrees and snacks, including their amazing wood-fired pizzas! We had the Quattro Stagione pie, a delicious thin crust with tomatoes and cheese and piles of veggies--it was delicious!

Food is just mediocre. Service slow. There was nothing at all compelling about this place, imo. Lunch arrived cold, after we finally were served. Service was painfully slow. With so many other choices, imo, its not worth the frustration. Certainly not the place I want to gather.

Fantastic food, good service, and awesome location for the area. Three Tomatoes makes some amazing wood fired pizzas! Every time we come to VT to ski, we try to eat there at least once. Very child friendly as well, which is a huge plus since we have a one year old. :)

Excellent atmosphere and delicious food. A terrific place to eat for a special occasion. The wood fired oven adds ambience to the restaurant. With a superb menu and incredible staff, Three Tomatoes Trattoria is the go to restaurant in the upper valley. Thank you!

The food was really tasty but the bartender barely paid attention to my friend and I and our food took WAY too long To come out. Why ask us if we want more bread and then not even bring it. We ended up just packing up the food and leaving.

Gluten free pizza in a wood fired oven!!!!! Pizza was so delicious. Pesto was what I got. The chicken wine couldnt be cuter and delicious to taste. No gluten free table bread, but the garlic on the caprese salad made up for it.

I called to ask if they had vegan options and they got FURIOUS and refused to even check for me. Having nothing vegan is totally understandable, but being a huge jerk to a potential customer is just uncalled for.

Seriously yummy! I remember going to Three Tomatoes in Burlington and I loved it. So I had to try it again here in Lebanon since I moved. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be going back again soon!

Great food, great service! Comfortable inside with the wood fired oven, and my favorite seating is outside during the summer when the weather is nice :) You have to try the Carbonara.....its the best....
