My husband and I wanted to try Figaro since we had lived in Enfield for a little over a year now. With all of the chain restaurants around, we figured Figaro must be good to have survived this long in chain-restaurant territory. Wow, were we disappointed! We started off with an appetizer, mozzarella garlic bread. Literally, this was a hoagie roll sliced in half, with garlic butter slathered with what appeared to be garlic butter you buy in a store. Then, it was topped with slices (as in deli slices) of mozz. You could see the pieces overlapping. Okay, so this was not what we expected, but we continued to order. I ordered the chicken Francese (Im not sure if that is really the name, but it was similar) from what the menu said, it sounded like a sort of Chicken Picatta without the capers. The sauce acutally looked like it was a week old. It was not "lemony" but rather dark yellow and rather tasteless. My husband ordered a veal parmesean - simple enough. But done so wrong. I wish I had enough room to tell you everything that was wrong with these meals, but the fact that when you tasted the "pan fried" chicken, you couldnt tell the differene between it or the "pan fried veal". It tasted the same. After I added fresh lemon to the chicken, it actually tasted like a really cheap fish and chips. Very scary. Both meals also claim to come with pasta and vegetables. The pasta was day old penne, with day old sauce. And the vegetable was soggy, old zucchini with the same yucky sauce that was on the penne. The zucchini was brown and so soggy it was scary. The penne and zucchini were delivered in regular bowls (the size of a typical cereal bowl) to be shared between us. After this awful dinner, we got the bill, oh and sorry I forgot to include the watered down cocktail, and watered down glass of wine that we ordered. It cost $60.00 Not unusual for a good nights dinner out for two people. But we will never EVER go back to Figaro, and we have already warned our friends to steer clear and hope that you will save your money as well.

I brought my husband here for a quiet birthday dinner last night. Our server Rita was amazing and her recommendations helped us choose our meals for the evening. The food and service was out of this world fantastic! I STRONGLY recommend the Chicken Amaretto!!!!! The family style dinner approach won me over. On our way out we ran into Leah, another staff member, she invited us back! Overall the staff is outgoing and fantastic and the menu itself truly is unique. Unlike other Italian restaurants that have "a menu" we found a truly authentic dining experience. After we left we spent the next few hours talking about our meal. I havent had an experience this great in a long time and I honestly cant wait until the next time! A day later we were still talking about it. My parents visit from out of town periodically and were always worried about where to take them for dinner. This is the place and I cant wait to bring my parents here for a great family experience.

Real Italian Entrees. Great daily specials. Very friendly staff. Prompt and courteous service. 5 daily lunch specials to choose from. Awesome house bread with virgin olive oil and a nice touch of fresh ground parm. Good draft beer selection. Very clean. The owner is a jolly nice guy and likes to mingle. The portions are huge, so plenty to take home. Easy access from I91 and ample parking. The stuffed chicken daily special is to die for. Repeater visits for sure. Excellent value.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience there. The steak was undercooked, rice wasnt done and shrimp was over cooked. The worst 100 dollar meal Ive ever had. I also thought they were very cheap with the wine. I ordered a glass and by the third sip I was already done. For 8.95 a cup they should at least I use a larger cup

If you love Bolognese Sauce, then try this restaurant. If you love Vodka Sauce, then try this restaurant. If you love Alfredo Sauce, then try this restaurant. They have other sauces, but I cant get past these three with any of these pastas. Spaghetti ~ Linguini ~ Ziti ~ Fettuccini ~ Angel Hair ~ Rigatoni

Great place, nice atmosphere, family restaurant with amazing food. Too bad it is surrounded by chain restaurants, seams to be one of the last family restaurants in town. After 40years they managed to survive and I have no doubt that it will continue to. Great food, great staff, definitely recommend

We went to Figaro for my grandfathers 94th birthday and it was great! Our waiter Fred was excellent as far as catering to our needs (and making sure to talk loudly so that my grandfather could hear, haha). There was live music and everyone went out of their way to make sure our meal was special.

It has been my FAVORITE restaurant for almost 30 years. Their Zuppa clams are awesome. We have had parties, anniversaries, Birthdays and more and have never been disappointed. From their rosemary chicken to swordfish w/tomatoes lunch to their Caprese salad...we love it all!

Great food. The fresh imported mozzarella and the stuffed mushrooms were perfect appetizers to my delicious stuffed shells. The bartender made my old fashioned right on the money and she was hot too.

One of the last great casual Italian restaurants in the area! Its not fake chain food Italian, or overly pretentious, just great old fashion food. Wait staff is professional, and attentive.

The server was really nice and fun. There were 7 adults and everyone liked their food but nothing was great. Reasonably priced. Id go back if I was in the area.

Overpriced and odd. Bland and they clearly make their money on big parties who feel like theyre above Olive Garden.
