Just a quick overall before I break down my experience. The staff is poor, the decor funky and the food needs much improvement with a couple good dishes. Let me start by saying, expect to wait. I arrived with my wife and was told a 55-70 minute wait and to recheck in 45 minutes. So we hit the mall and came back and were told a 15 minute wait. We hit LL Bean right next door and came back and were told in a couple minutes. 40 minutes later, 30 minutes after the original estimated time, we got a seat. While waiting, you could obviously notice dirty tables that could have been cleaned for patrons to be seated and a lazy staff just standing around. We got to our seats and ordered our food, first a crispy crab wontons. It came out almost immediately and tasted wonderful. At this point I assumed that this was the turning point for our night. The portion was large, everything cooked right and a great dipping sauce. We picked at it a good while and then proceeded to wait about a half an hour for our main course to come out. They definitely could have timed the appetizer later so that the wait was broken up. I ordered a rib-eye that comes with french fries and ordered a side of mushrooms. Now this is not an exaggeration at all, literally half the steak was fat. I understand that this cut of meat is supposed to be marbled but this was far from just marbled, I had to cut half of it off. My waiter dropped of my steak with my wifes order and told me my fries and mushrooms would be out shortly. A few moments later a different waiter dropped off a plate with my fries, mushrooms and a filet mignon on it. I sat there for a moment, waiting to waive down my waiter and tell him the extra steak came when the kid came back and took my fries, mushrooms and the extra steak away apologizing. Then a few moments after that and a few hand gestures ignored by my waiter, he showed back up with my fries and mushrooms. My wife ordered the fish tacos, made with cod. They can be described with one word, dry. Just dry and hard to eat. We had to take them home and put salsa on them to actually eat them. The cheesecake was amazing, we got the oreo dream. So in review, if you want amazing cheesecake and a good appetizer and dont mind waiting an hour and a half for a seat, this could be the place for you. I dont see myself getting anything from here but to go cheesecake in the future.

20 minute wait to get seated. 10 minute wait for waitress to show up with menus. 10 minutes to place drink orders...another 10-15 minutes to put a food order in...actually we later found out that the waitress had forgotten to put our order in right away. After about 30 minutes of waiting we noticed people who had been seated AFTER us were getting food etc. and even dessert!!! So finally a different waitress or food runner serves our entrees, which were okay, average but definitely not worth a 45-60 minute wait...a salad with strips of steak, a salad with strips of chicken, a Caesar salad with chicken, and a chicken sandwich with fries, sodas and waters. Nothing complicated. By the way, there was plenty of wait staff, kitchen staff, etc. so I dont know why the long wait. For the price, $85.00, we could have dined at a much nicer establishment and had a more enjoyable and relaxing time. Isnt that why people usually dine out in the first place? I dont think I will be eating here again or recommending it to anyone.

About almost a year ago we went here. I had ordered some pork and it came to me under cooked. I started to look for someone who worked there but without getting out of the both it made it hard due to the odd placement of the both we were in dont get me wrong it was nice because we were away from the business. I was a guy walk by in a green shirt I said excause me do and the gentlemen said yes(turned out he was the manager edgar) I brought up my concerns about my pork and he was so polite took my food away gave us to free salads even though I said he didnt have to but he assistant. My husband had already finished his food so I aske d to just get my pork dinner to go. When got home I went to write to their HQ to let them know what a great job that manager did handling our problem. I got the reciept to get more info to give to HQ that is when I noticed they took off my dinner completely. This place might be pricey but you get great service

Tappa obbligatoria.

FIRST THE SINKS IN THE BATHROOM DONT WORK. EMPLOYEES MUST NOT WASH THEIR HANDS. Now, as a future Hospitality Managment student, I found many things wrong with this restaurant. This place seating us at a two person table... there were three of us. They put the wrong number on the ticket. After out order was placed and we got our food, a burger at our table had a very odd sauce. We told the waitress. 10 minutes later the manager came over to ask what was on it. LADY WE DID NOT KNOW. HE HAD FOOD ALLERGIES AND COULD HAVE KILLED HIM. WTF!!! 30 minutes later, a new burger comes out. Waste of time and money. Id give it 0 stars given the chance.

Every time we order takeout you guys mess up my order. Youre worse than Mc Donalds! Luckily my wife loves your food, your restaurant is 2 minutes away and isnt a picky eater like me. Literally we ask for no cheese on my burger, and there is cheese on it every time. We even have you repeat the order back to us for clarification. After all that trouble, The Cheesecake Factory puts cheese on my burger. Ive actually gone in there once only to get our food 90 minutes later. The accuracy you guys have with messing up orders is unbelievable. Maybe next time I should ask for extra cheese on my burger, and Ill get no cheese!

One start only because this is listed as a pet friendly restaurant. It is not, only service dogs allowed as it should be. They have plenty of outdoor seating, we have a 9 lb Shih Tzu well behaved. Were not allowed to sit outside, so please dont list this chain as pet friendly at least not this one. Same for the Brio restaurant. Otherwise, with no pets service is good and food is typical for Cheesecake Factory and fine. Note, West Hartford restaurants are much friendlier to pets, they even bring a water dish for them. Unfortunately, too far to go but if you are in the area you will have plenty of outdoor seating options.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory in Danbury Mall tonight. We got there at 4:45, trying to beat the rush. Sat at the bar for an hour while waiting for seating for 5. We had two tables together, not squeezed into a booth for four. A+ I had Tuscan Chicken, excellent, and Dolce la Leche Cheesecake for dessert, sublime. We were served by a nice man, Chris. He had 5 tables and split his time well. He was thorough but didnt hover. The kitchen was slammed and he stopped by the table with updates on our orders and to see if we needed anything. I was expecting an awful time and was pleasantly surprised.
