Its Red Lobster. So what do you expect? If youve never been to one, then you might as well go. The food is actually pretty good for a low- to mid-market chain restaurant, and with deals like Endless Shrimp its good value for money. If restaurants were Pokemen, then this Red Lobster would be that really slow one. I mean s-l-o-w. The staff might as well be made of stone and have Druids move them about. Today our experience was on par with the usual: 15 minutes after sitting down, a waiter came over to say hello. 45 minutes after sitting down we had our first serving of Endless Shrimp. Fortunately were quick eaters and devoured our meals in about five minutes and got our second serving of shrimp relatively quickly. We asked for the check as the food came out and got out of there in just under an hour. If all youve got is an hour for lunch, you wont enjoy your food as it races down your gullet half chewed. If youre planning on dinner, make sure the movie youre seeing afterwards doesnt start for a good two hours. This is extra bizarre, because these chain restaurants usually know all about turnover. Get the guests in and out as quickly as possible, because more checks equals more revenue. Here? There were ten people waiting for tables by the time we left.

I had the 4 course meal, which was disappointing, havent been to a Red Lobster for a while, so I was really let down. I usually get the 4 course meal and am usually very happy with it, they really cut it back. The soup and salad was the same, but the entree really was diminished. Before their was a shrimp and baby scallops with Alfredos linguine which was a big bowl and it was satisfy, but that is only a memory no, when they gave me my entree it wasnt much bigger than the saucers you put the biscuits on, which were not fully cooked and was doughy. And that wasnt even the worse part, before you got to pick from serial desserts, but all you can get now was the brownie sundae, which was not just disappointing but a disgrace. I the sundae use to be a great, you use to get 3 prices of browine, when I went to this place today they gave me 1 HALF OF A BROWNIE WTF, I UNDERSTAND CUTTING BACK BUT seriously, if you have to diminish a special that bad then take it off. I do have to say those that small triangle was good. The only reason I didnt give this place 1 star was because are waiter was super nice and was on top of everything. Am probably going to go back to Red Lobster again but its going to be a long time before I do again and I will definitely not get this

To be honest, Im a big chain-restaurant fan. Applebees, Olive Garden, Outback, and of course Red Lobster are just a few of my faves. You know what youre getting and there are never any surprises. This past weekend was the first time we came to this location of Red Lobster. We were seated in 40 minutes (as the host had promised) during dinner time which was an okay wait for us. Just dont come super hungry! Hubby ordered the Admirals Feast (fried everything -- shrimps, scallops, flounder and clam strips) with a side of King Crab legs and I had the Ultimate Feast (Maine lobster tail, Snow Crab legs, shrimp scamp and fried shrimp). There was the always satisfying cheddar biscuits warm and crunchy on the outside. Their food was fresh, and thats whats most important when eating seafood. The service was good and the food was as expected. We went home with leftovers, full and happy, and all this for a mere $70, which included tip. Cant complain.

I am a business traveler and find the salad and vegetables served by this chain to be tastefull and filling while eating out almost daily on a budget. It is sad that a chain with such findamental standards has so much difficulty achieving even LOW standards. The service here is terrible. Wait staff is not attentive, management is usually absent or pre-occupied with matter that dont concern serving their customers. If youve got the time to waste, you will still be dissapointed with the food quality. Save your money and STAY AWAY!!! If there is any bright spot, I called the restaurant when they again botched my take out order and "Maria" was responsive and attentive.

They have really turn this place around. I feel like red lobster is what I remember it as a kid again. The biscuits OMG is so freaked good. Know what your ordering because some stuff could be over salty. If you order something that dont taste right stop right there and tell them. They will make it right. Ive seem people just settle for it and eat it. They seemed to have turned the place around lets make sure they keep it that way and not let it slip. Lots of parking outside. Nice waiting area. Kids always love watching the lobsters in the tank. There is always a wait at lunch and dinner time. I guess thats proof the food it really good.

They sat us near the tray stand rack. Every time a waiter threw down their stand, we heard a huge bang right next to us. Waitress took long time to come to us, but it is graduation week, and she was nice. One of us got a long black hair in our $35 dinner. The manager asked what part of meal had the hair, and she basically excpected my family member to eat the part of the meal that didnt have hair, and just replace the item on the plate that had the hair. Gross. Biscuits are delish. My food was good and im very full. On my way home now to eat my vanilla bean cheesecake. Good night.

Pure Yumminess!! Let start from beginning to end. We entered the restaurant the wait time was short. We were seated and our fabulous waitress came over she (Cheryl) took our order. We had the lobster dip (one of my favs) I had a peach sangria (definitely recommend) and he had the ultimate Long Island Iced Tea ( he loved his drink, no complaints of it being weak). Our entree was the Ultimate Feast and it was season perfectly. Every aspect of this meal was above expectations! Kudos Red Lobster of Carl Place!

Ordered food for take out told me 10-15mins. I came about 25 minutes later. I stood at bar for 10mins waiting for bartender to give me food. When she finally came back to bar, she started going to surrounding tables for to cash out tables. So I ask is my food ready she stated I have to wait. Told her Ive been waiting now 20 mins. When food was supposed to be ready in 10-15 minutes. Now a total of 45 minutes later I get my order of shrimp. ONLY SHRIMP. not going again!

If someone orders takeout via phone at 1:57p and advised that the food will be ready in 10-15 minutes, there is absolutely no excuse why the food is not ready when the customer arrives at 3p. When I arrived, I was told the food was gonna be put together. Huh? What is the purpose of ordering in advance for lunch if you have to wait upon arrival?? I waited until 3:15p, STILL NO FOOD READY so I walked out. Unbelievable. Again, I called this order in at 1:57p.
