I called for take out tonight at 6:51 and when the girl picked up the phone she already seemed bothered. I already knew right there at that point my food was going to come out wrong. The girl proceeds to tell me that it will be ATLEAST a hour for take out. I said Ill call back wanted to see if my family still wanted to order. We decided we will still place the order because we havent had it in a while (due to the fact that the last few times we have ordered it was wrong.) I call back 2 minutes later and the girl picks up and says it will be about 40 minutes? Wait? A hour or 45? Hmmm... anyways I placed the order and the whole time I feel as if Im being rushed off the phone she repeats the order the same way I ordered it. My boyfriend goes to pick up the food at 7:55 he arrives and waits another 10 minutes they take out the order and show it to him repeating to him our original order. Get home and its WRONG like I knew it would be. Pretty pissed off that every time I have to convince my family to order after a back experience here I always get another bad experience. Not only are they turning away money over the phone they are always giving us bad service, when we dine in or take out. Save your money its not worth the hassle.

I absolutely love Olive Garden. Its the perfect date night out for my boyfriend and I. But the waitress weve ended up with several times has not been what I hope to have for service. The times we were there she was less than accommodating. She forgot one of my orders and acted like she was too busy to even be listening. Now Im not sure if its because my boyfriend and I are younger that she behaves this way, but in the same section we could see and hear her going above and beyond for two senior couples. I work in the restaurant industry and I know how to treat customers. But I refuse to keep using my hard earned tips to give lazy or inconsiderate waitresses/waiters extra money they didnt earn. Besides poor service the food at Olive Garden is still as good as it ever was and Im sure Ill return. Maybe Ill just ask for a different section.

We went to the Danbury location for a quick bite, we decided to pay the bill with my debit card and the tip in cash, we left 20% couple of days later while reviewing my bank statement I noticed the waiter charged me an extra15% on my card. I spoke with the manager, at the beginning of the conversation he wanted to blame the bank holding extra funds on my account, he was surprised went I let him know I have been in the banking industry for over 15yr, automatically the tune of the conversation changed. I ended up getting my money back but its the dishonesty and the principal. Dont visit this restaurant and if you do make sure to check your bank account after.

l went with a friend on night, and our waitor, Juan, was so rude. He didnt introduce himself, instead said "what do you want to drink" and disappeared for 5 minutes before bringing us our drinks. We then ordered a bottle of wine, and he gave us DIRTY GLASSES that he just rinsed out! As if that wasnt bad enough he gave us the WRONG BOTTLE! Then he refused to correct the mistake. Our food came quickly, but he never offered us anything else, never asked how things were, never refilled our water. I wrote to corporate who did take care of the issue very quickly, but l am beyond hesitant to return.

This restaurant has gone downhill. I used to love going to the Olive Garden but today when I went it wasnt good at all. I ordered the tilapia with shrimp. The fish was very dry and bland and the plate consisted almost entirely of broccoli. My friends dishes were similarly unsatisfactory. It seemed like the restaurant ran out of food. For the prices that this restaurant charges, I should be getting more than just vegetables. I probably will not be going back any time soon nor will the people I went with.

Poor service today, I think because of the holiday they were not prepared for a crowd or just staffing issues. They gave a round table that can seat six to 3 people and when we came on with 5 they wanted to squeeze us in at a small table for 4. Then when I asked if they could put 3 tables for 4 together to make 6 they put two odd size tables together instead of two that were the same size. Dardens needs to retrain this staff.

I ordered the shrimp scampi it was dry had way too many tomatoes. I asked to server for more sauce she brings me Alfredo sauce. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli only the ravioli on top had some sort of lobster filling the server never refilled our bread. Im from Chicago and there is a huge difference in the cooking so with that being said I give them one star. Need to do better!

My wife and I just got take out from here and got a horrible surprise in her salad, some type of bug. Needless to say we throughout the rest of our food and will never eat here again. We had not eaten here in a long time so on our drive in from NY, we decided to stop in for the buy one take one special. We took a little more than we expected. Check your salad if you eat here!

Once in a while its fun to go to the Olive Garden. It isnt a fine dining experience but I enjoy the unlimited salad and others enjoy the breadsticks. The entrees are good although not great and are quite filling if you like pasta. The pasta fazool soup soup is also quite good. Because I dont eat pasta, I fill up on salad.

4 stars for the food and the ambience and the 5th one specifically for Lindsay (was serving us) who helped us order something that was vegetarian and not on the restaurant menu. Definitely coming back again.

I cant believe how good they treat people. The food is excellent and inexpensive, the best bread and salad, fast service, and a great environment. They have a new customer for life. 5 stars.

Food was ok at best. Very upset that they brought my daughters kid meal out 15 minutes before my wife and my meals. Kinda of ruined the family dinner atmosphere. Very disappointed.

Dont judge by the run down looking exterior. Inside was clean and well maintained. Service was nice and the food was tasty. Olive Garden is doing more scratch cooking. Great value.
