So I have been visiting Marges periodically for several years. Hooray, gone are the days of random and unexpected daily closures and senile counter help. Visited once and realized the place had changed hands, but the food is very much the same, a good thing, however it seems there has been some arbitrary choosing of sand size, one day I get something that looks like the sands of old, the next time I order the same, but when I get it the paper looks the right size, but inside is this 3 inch 2 bite thing, while that was probably ample food, it was an expensive snack, little underwhelmed

Edited: Nov,10, 2013 Agreeing with Chipper, Ive been going there for several years whenever I had a chance (I live in Lakewood). And the original owners did indeed retire, and gave the business to the young men. Youll have to get the right staff; while the cashier is always nice, you can sometimes get a sandwich which is almost oversized, then sometimes youll get a sandwich that barely has anything. Its all still very tastey with all the original amenities, but the sizes vary alot.

Was my first time coming here. Nice people, clean restaurant, ordered a Philly ahead of time and got the order right although Im not sure if they cut their own meat but my sandwich had more than enough gristle and bone like items in the phillysteak. Your meal is the best part of the experience and what you come to a restaurant for most. Was very turned off by that and didnt finish the sandwich, was a waste of money for me.

Best philly cheese steaks in town by far. We usually hit this place up every week or two. Always great service, sandwiches are served hot, and packed full of meat and cheese. This place always gets an "A" rating on their restaurant health inspection scores, which is very important to me and something I always like to check before heading out to eat.

Never review places, but I had to here. The phillys are fantastic, but what keeps me coming back (my mouth just started watering) is the poo sauce. I steal 2 or so plastic things of the batch #1 sauce to bring to work. It is by far the best hot sauce I have ever had, and as my buddy said who tried it, "its euphoric." I go once a week. Keep it up Marge.

Do you enjoy Philadelphia Cheesesteaks? As good as back East. No frills, I get the Classic Philly every time. Ameroso bread stuffed with beef , sauteed onions, and of course (cheese) Whizz and cherry peppers. The fried mushrooms are perfect also. I wanted to photograph it but instead I tore tru it like a tornado. Maybe next time.

I like a good philly cheese steak, and they do a pretty good job with them here. I used to go to an Omaha based chain when I lived in Kansas City and finally found this place to be the closest substitute. The fries are delicious. The one drawback is the service is decently slow, so dont be surprised if you have to wait a bit.

Turtle is a sir, a gentleman. The crew in the kitchen knows what they are doing and they make a fine sandwich. Their home made sauces are excellent, their dining area has charm and they have good music to accent their memorable atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates an honest, local business. Seriously.

So my experience today was i ordered fries with no one else in the store . Then 4 more customers come after me they ordered way more then just friess . I sat waiting for my food longer than anyone eventhough I ordered one thing while they ordered like 4 or 5 things each. Smfh

Its very difficult to find really great food thats this special. I hope others discover this "Hole in the Wall" spot and keep it going. I suggest you stay away from the corporate franchises and support/ promote these hidden treasures when you find them. Good Job Marge!

Stopped here for lunch on 7/30/2016 on the way to DIA based on reviews. Great food. The Santa Fe is a nice blend of New Mexican flavor and a cheesesteak. The macaroni bites - OMG tasty. Locals have a great place to eat. Visitors like me - stop in for lunch.

Great food, owners clearly care about their customers and their opinions. Weve been going here for years and are glad the new owners have consistency in the food they serve. Marge was great, but you could never count on getting the same sandwich twice.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Their cheesesteaks are the BEST!!! In addition to the amazing food (and everything on the menu is delicious) the service is outstanding. I cant recommend this place enough if you like cheesesteaks!

The sandwich is a good value for the price. I dont like the bread - which I believe is Amarosso...this means frozen, sorry I just dont like the texture. I also dont like my meat chopped into kibble. The waffle fries were really good.

Im from Chicago but have been to Philly and this is the real deal I live a good distance away but try to make the drive every weekend to get a Cheesteak even thou I 5 diffrent cheesteak places within a mile of me, none even compare

Amazing service, excellent food, reasonable price. What more could you ask for from a "hole in the wall" place that you would only go to if you know about it. I suggest you get to know about it. You will not be disappointed.

Took me a while to find a great cheesesteak place one I moved, but this is it. Both kinds of "normal" sandwich and plenty of other varieties (buffalo, green chili, breakfast, etc). Add in some sides and have an awesome meal.

I just ate here and wow is all I can say. I got a mushroom Philly with some fries to dip in the green chili. The new owners seam cool and they are open all day everyday. I cant wait to try the breakfast Philly.

Went in there a few days ago, and the new owners were in there, real nice young guys, and they cooked the steak just as good as Marge. I recommend the works with green chili. Glad this place is still here!!!

Best chez steaks but ther never open 10 to 3 closed on sundays and randomly close thro the week days. No tv to watch and usually flys all around i do recommend taking the food home
