Reviewed June 28, 2013 I have eaten at Los Arcos only a handful of times in all of the years that I have lived in Westminster, one because it really isnt that great of Mexican food and two because the service is not always the best but after last night I will never step foot in this establishment again. My husband and I were waiting to order our food when a waitress, who was not the one serving us, came up to our table being very loud and rudely accused us of walking out on a $75 tap a few weeks earlier and that she had to pay for it out of pocket. At first I thought it was some kind of joke and wasnt sure what to say then she insisted that she had us on video tape and she would prove that it was us. Mind you I had not been to this restaurant in well over 6 months and the last time I was there I had a male server so I have never been waited on by this female. After 5 minutes of embarrassment she finally left our table with a promise to return with her manager. After waiting about 15 minutes the owner and that waitress returned to the table, the owner could not apologize enough but when she asked the waitress to apologize to us she said it in a very snotty, put out way and after she was dismissed by the owner from our table that waitress proceeded to relay the details of what happened to a group of other employees making it very evident that they were talking about us. I felt that we were singled out because of a certain way that we look and even though the owner tried to smooth things over I feel that she did not handle her employee in the proper way. I will say that there are a few servers there that are good but the unprofessionalism of this waitress has ruined it for the overall experience. So if you want a pleasant and worth while Mexican meal I would recommend going to one of the other local establishments.

Went here with my wife and two small kids at 6pm on a Monday... not crowded... waited 45 minutes for our food even though we ordered immediately and then the food came out in phases while our baby daughter was falling asleep at the table. I had asked for hot sauce with the meal which didnt come out and when we asked for it, the waitress brought out other stuff like sour cream and pico which I said fine too even though she told me as she was putting it on the table that it costs extra. We had to ask for our check three times and I left with my daughter to get her in the car while my wife was still trying to pay. The waitress brought out boxes and apparently tried to up sell again on the extras. We ended up eating almost none of our food, left our margaritas on the table, and still got charged full price. Disappointing experience. This restaurant may be fine under other circumstances but go here unless you have 2 hours to eat and/or you dont have small children.

Great atmosphere, parking is limited on the weekends mainly in the evening & its often crowded so there is a wait to be seated (Adding Open Table for reservation purposes would help a lot). Great meats; Shrimp, Steak, etc & Rice/Beans/Chips & Salsa (Meals: Shrimp Ranchero, T-Bone Jalisco Steak & Shrimp served with Red or Green Chile) All of their dishes are Great, Lively Bar with Great drinks, try a Colada (ask for the drink inside the Pineapple, yes the drink is literally served inside a real Pineapple that has been cut open at the top!) Booths available, indoor & outdoor seating, large tables for groups. AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD THAT HAS THAT WARM GOOD FEELING!

We have always loved this place but I was taken here for mothers day and the service was the worst Ive ever had we had a large party but there was not many people there so her forgetting 1 persons drinks even after us reminding her 3 times then forgot 1 persons food, also we all ran out of drinks numerous times. Then the food was terrible this time most of us ended up getting sick and it tasted off. I ordered alot of extra food to have for lunch the next day and ended up throwing it all away. I dont no what happened to this place my whole family has went here for yrs. But I wont be going back

I would give the food a 5 and our server 1. Was pleased with our food, but our server was horrible, waited 15 to 20 mins to place our order and while taking our order was rushing it. I waited for a refill over 25 mins. Some other server came over and asked my husband if needed a refill and my husband said yes and he pointed out my cup as well. The server than delivered my husbands food and our comand food, I waited about 5 mins for mine. Mine was the easiest He was carrying my plate with him as he was waiting on other tables. This is first time we had bad service.

I used to love this place but today I encountered more expensive items for lesser quality: the avocado salad was watery and didnt seem fresh (in fact, seemed processed rather than made with over the counter avocados), their traditional sizzling fajitas presentation was not there (in fact the veggies were not even caramelized) and, to top it off, they charge almost $3.50 for a soda w/one free refill, and then almost a $1 dollar for further refills. It almost seemed they changed administration and things are not as good as they used to be!

I have been going to Los Arcos for years and have gotten to know several of the servers on a first name basis. Food is fast and delicious! Absolutely love this place and it is one of my favorite restaurants. Period. It is authentic and if you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, be prepared for a bit of a wait, but know it is worth it!! If you go regularly, make sure you get the frequent visitor card to save 10% on every visit! 11/10!!!

I LOVE Los Arocs!!! It was the middle suite in a little complex and now they own the whole complex and expanded both ways. Ive going her for over 10 years and have NEVER had a bad experience or been disappointed. The food is amazing and I love the decor! The owners truly care and if you go in enough get to know you personally. You can tell they truly care about you and your business. Number 1 Mexican restaurant in the state!!!
