Cant complain much about the food, because it was pretty good. The problem is with the service. Maybe they were having an off night, but if this is their usual level of service then I would question their supposedly high ratings and good reviews. We ordered the "unlimited" meats option, including unlimited sides, etc. We were one of only 2 tables there when we started eating, and I even had a conversation with the "server" explaining how it was my birthday. So youd think you wouldnt be forgotten about right? Especially when youre in direct line of the kid at all times from anywhere hes at in the restaurant. Wrong. Never offered another drink, another bowl of rice, nothing. Oh, and he told me right off the bat they offer people nothing for their birthdays. Stupid, lazy, and cheap. Good combination. Then, when we finally got offered some assistance by another girl working a few of the tables, who finally noticed that we we just sitting there waiting for something to happen, I explained the situation and that we had no service the entire time... So what does she do? Well she brings me the bill, in full, and tells us that maybe next time we come in she will give us a free appetizer. Ha, good one! Her excuse : "sorry theyve been getting really slammed all day." Oh really? Weird since we were one of only 2 tables seated in the whole place just 45 mins before. Id hate to see what happens when they are actually busy. The people seated across from us, who came together but took up two tables next to each other, had one of the tables order taken and the other also ignored and forgotten until they spoke up. On a role. Keep it up guys. Appreciate the overpriced and memorable birthday experience. 2 stars for the food, which by the way we had no idea what it was or how to cook it properly, (because explaining that would have required too much effort, or probably cost extra?) and 0 for the service.

We went knowing the price would be high, was the food worth it? Absolutely. The service is what makes me hesitant to go back. After being seated and waiting for 10 minutes I was able to finally flag down a server so we could place drink orders with an appetizer. The place was busy but not that busy, as we noticed many of the staff socialize with one another around the bar. Once those orders were in, we received them extremely quickly! I wish there was an explanation of what exactly everything was, I still dont know half the delicious items I ate. The menu did a great job explaining how to grill, maybe the same approach could be done for the appetizers? Are you supposed to make lettuce wraps? What are all these items? After some time, with out a check on how we were doing I had to flag the waiter down again to place another drink order. Again received those items really quickly. After finishing up our meals, many items were cleared by the staff. We eventually finished our drinks and were ready to go, after again patiently waiting thinking someone would come help us. I had to then again flag down our waiter. Now all service has been provided by me asking for it... Id give the place another chance, especially after they get their tables grills installed. However, if the service is bad again I wouldnt return. Why should I have to work to get service and give you my money? There are a few other Korean BBQ choices not too far from this location, that I could just as easily go to.

I finally tried this restaurant last night at the new Denver location on Colorado Boulevard which is in my neighborhood near Cherry Creek. I am Korean and born in the US so I dont necessarily eat Korean food very often, but this place is great. The staff is young, polite, attentive and hip. The food comes relatively quickly and is delicious For those who think that it is overpriced, it is actually a real bargain compared to any restaurant in Aurora with authentic Korean food because by definition there is a lot of preparation in Korean food.. This is NOT like going to Garbanzo for Greek food or Chipotle for Mexican. The food here tastes homemade and is 100% authentic. The barbeque tables are not even installed yet at this location and I already love this place. Thank you for bringing authentic Korean food to Denver!! Tasted just like moms!!!

Ive had past good experiences at other Dae Gee restaurants but this place is total nonsense. My grill kept turning off every 2 minutes. After ive told 3 different waitors about my situation they said they were working on it. After 10 minutes i told another 2 waitors on my situation and they said they were going to move me to another seat. Another 10 minutes went by and no one moved us to another table when there were plenty of tables available. My meat were all dried up at this point and i didnt have anything cooked to eat. We decided to walk out as we were getting no service and no attention. The server stopped us and stated that they were working on putting us to a new table. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible service. Especially the one with piercing in her lips. Absolutely terrible. Love the chain but hate this location.

This place is trash. The servers literally dont want you there. We ordered extra rice so we could get unlimited side dishes. The servers acted like it was annoying that we even asked for extra sides. They made sure to bring the check right over so we feel like we couldnt have anymore. The meat is in small portions. My friends had their bbq before I did then the guy, who delivered my food, had no idea what I ordered. He put raw squid in front of me like it was an entree. The squid was so over sauced that there was no way to actually bbq it. It just "slopped" on a semi warm grill and heated up. Bad service and mediocre food. We always tip at least 25% but left a big fat 0. Save your time and money. If youre looking for real Korean bbq check out a different place.

This restaurant is one of our family favorites! Were from the west side and use to travel all the way to Parker for a Korean restaurant. This place is way better and the food is amazing! We typically get the Korean BBQ (my husband, grew up in Korea, then eats like a king), but I love the jhob chae, beef bulgogi and bee bim bop and my kids love the man doo gook. They also have this spicy beef soup that is delicious but I cant remember the name. I also like the side dishes they offer with the meal... I could just eat those. Another reason we come here is its family owned and we like to support local business. We always feel welcomed by the staff and they are always willing to teach me more about the Korean culture. Yummy Place :)

tCustomer service was complete garbage. Food was decent but the poor service sealed the deal. I will never return. I wouldnt even go here for a free meal! Unlimited my left nut. No one checked in on us the entire duration of our meal,we had to flag someone down on every occasion and, It wasent even busy. Servers acted as if we were bothering them. Towards the end of our meal the server was mildly better. We suspect she went into the back for a line of coke. Do yourself a solid and seriously avoid this place. Unless of course you want to be treated like scum. High possibility the staff is racist.
