I have never written a review for a restauraunt, let alone a product on Amazon. However, after the experience I had at this "restaurant", I felt I had to. This restaurant is easily the worst restaurant I have ever attended. Originally, I called in a to-go order, anticipating that I would not be eating there. However, things changed and I decided to bring my family to sit down at the restaurant. Upon arriving, the hostess was hesistant to seat us. She claimed that we could not eat the carry-out food (from that restaurant) at a restaurant table. Following our brief discussion, she reluctantly "allowed" us to sit down if we tipped her and ordered drinks. She said she would discuss our carry-out order with the waiter. After about 10 minutes, the waiter finally came out. We told him about our previous order -- which he had NO knowledge of (not sure why the hostess didnt tell him, even after she told us she would) -- and said hed talk to the manager. We also ordered an alcoholic beverage. Bear in mind that we placed the carry-out order at 6:40. It was supposed to be done by 7:00, and we sat down in the restaurant at 7:30. At 7:45, neither the drink nor the pizza had arriaved. When I saw the hostess, I asked her where it was. She said that she couldnt help us, but that I could talk to our waiter (who I had already spoken to). I then went inside to speak to him again. He said he couldnt help me because to-go orders were at the bar. I asked to speak to the manager. In our discussion, he blamed the hostess for not speaking English (which she did), said the restaurant was understaffed (the bartender who was supposed to be making my wifes drink was busy seating people), and proceeded to blame us for not telling him the name associated with our order (which I did). The waiter also refused to take responsibility for the order. His excuse was that he was busy serving three more tables. Not only was there a lack of communication, knowledge, or manners that an average 2-month-old possesses, there was a lack of forks. After going back outside to wait for our pizza, the waitress informed the couple at the table next to us that they were out of forks. Apparently the waitress, waiter, host, hostess or even manager with enough common sense to wash forks was off duty. The couples two children (both under 5 years old) were forced to eat their mac n cheese and spaghetti with their fingers. Finally, the pizza arriaved. It is now 8:00, an entire hour after the pizza was supposed to be completed (we later learned that it had been completed, and had just been sitting in the heater for the past hour). When the waiter finally brought the food out, he rudely apologized for the service. I told him that there were a lot more things that he needed to apologize for, including his attitude. He replied "I can apologize for anything you want me to." At this point, I stood up and began to walk out with my family. My family decided to bring the pizzas with us. Ironically, they brought them to-go bags, even though we were sittting at the table. As we walked past him, the waiter said "I guess well comp your drink. We walked to the exit of the restaurant, we encountered the manager. I let him know how poor the service was and reminded him that he was the manager in charge of this and asked him what he wanted me to do with the food. He replied, saying that "you normally pay for it at the bar"(remember, there is no bartender -- hes busy seating people). I left the bags at the bar, and HE (the MANAGER) yelled at ME (the CUSTOMER): "Thanks for the free food!" and pointed to the door. I was going to say something along the lines of "so thats how you treat your customers!?", but he cut me off before I could say anything. After leaving, we walked about three hundred yards to a restaurant called Moes Original Bar-B-Que. I highly recommend it! My entire family of six was able to eat there for under $30, and the food was done in three minutes. To get there from BM, go up the stairs and head west. It is at the top of the stairs next to Charlies. Enjoy your BBQ!

My husband and I were visiting for our 1st wedding anniversary and we looking for a pizza place with a nice patio. We stumbled across Blue Moose Pizza and was immediately drawn in by their patio. We walked in and saw a sign that said "please wait to be seated"...so we waited and waited. Finally, a sloppily dressed unpleasant man (who we assume was the manager) came out of the kitchen and was very annoyed that he had to seat us. We asked if it was possible to sit out on the patio. The man grabbed 2 menus and shoved them at my husband and said "if you can find a table, you can." As we went out on to the patio, the place was a wreck! There were several tables that needed to be cleaned and the staff was so rude. In the end, we were eventually sat at a table with dirty dishes all over it and we found out the people who were sitting there were not even finished. We ended up leaving because of the lack of service that was thrown our way, which started the second we walked in the door. Both my husband and I have worked in the restaurant business and know the routine. This place is a sorry excuse for a restaurant and we will never return. What was supposed to be a special evening celebrating our 1st anniversary was ruined because of how awful we were treated at Blue Moose Pizza. BEWARE!!

Worst experience I have ever encountered at a pizza restaurant, I ask for two pizzas not well done (lightly cooked). First cheese pizza come out burnt like Kingsford charcoal. I ask if they could make it less well done, the manager KELLY tells me she cannot cook anything lightly as it would be a health code violation. Second pizza comes out same problem (this time a BBQ pizza with little BBQ sauce). Ask this pizza to be made again and a small pizza is brought out as a replacement. When asked why the pizza is a small KELLY says we ate half the original pizza. At this point I pick up the uneaten pieces of the BBQ pizza and show her to her face. She then asks if I am happy, no thanks I will go elsewhere to fight with a foolish young manager. Avoid .... Plenty of places to go without immature managers. Worst pizza experience ever, seriously this was the lowest form of customer service I have ever experienced. Our server had no idea who the general manager was as well, just KELLY. I will never eat here again. One star ! $108.23 down the tubes, left hungry.

Great food. We come here annually during our event every summer. Always a bit of a wait to get in and to get food but typically it is worth the rate. This would get a higher rating if it wasnt for the consistent slow service however most of the time the servers are friendly and polite giving a reason for the delay. Our last visit was by far the worst having to end the meal with a conversation with the manager who was respectful and made it right in the end. I think overall you should go here for great food and location but be aggressive if your service is not up to par and get the management involved sooner.
