I came here for a family vacation and we tried eating at this restursant the first night and they told us there kitchen was backed up so we couldnt eat there. Then we went there a second time and were told it was a 15 minute wait which ended up being a 45 minute wait after we were seated we had a very rude waiter who got our whole order wrong then we got a new waitress who when we told got our order wrong did not do anything about it. We ordered the soup of the day and we revived half a bowl of soup for two people then we ordered salad and they seem to have run out of salad after we order it! A person in our group received a burnt peice of pizza and had to wait 15 minutes more for her new slice of pizza. The staff seemed to not be worred about us and would roll their eyes when we would ask for anything. And the garlic bread was buttered toast and the staff did not seem to care about that.

I live in the area, and I would have to say that this is some of the worst pizza that I have ever had. It is always burned, greasy, and their service is appalling. I understand that they have great location, central to the village, but that is no excuse for the prices that they have set compared with the quality that they serve. Beaver creek is full of great places to eat, even ones that are affordable, but this is not one of those places, if I were looking for a good pizza I would move on and get Gondola Pizza, Dominoes, or Megustos, all of which deliver and have good quality food and pizza. The only advantage of Blue Moose is its location and thats it, their constantly changing staff and owners makes this a restaurant that is only reliable at delivering disgusting "pizza" and too high of a cost.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. What was suppose to be 35 min wait, went to 45 min+. I finally asked to be seated, and they cleared a bench for our large family. Waited another 15-20 min for service. I again approached a staff member asking for service. Response was, "Yeah, dude were slammed." Well, dude...Ive been waiting over an hour. "Yeah, Im sure you have dude." We left as this was indicator of more terrible service to come. As previous posts have mentioned, they seemed quite inefficient and blamed their foreign employees. Open 4 tops and party of 2 seated at an 8-10 top. I think I could have dealt with the inefficiency, but could not accept poor and rude customer service. It was bad enough for me to write a review for the first time in my life.

Sadly a similar story. Called in an order to a woman who let me know shes frustrated and busy. Most employees here are kind and never miss a beat. She was irked that I called, " you know its 30 minutes, right?!" Strangely also made sure I knew I was calling Beaver Creek store . . .yes, indeed I am aware I live here. Super rude employee answering the phone tonight, I hope the pizzas good

Once again, we were so disappointed by the service here. As locals we understand "the rush" but a slice of cheese took over 30 minutes and my beer was dry for about as long. The server didnt even come check on us once! We had to go inside to ask for our food and our check. Unreal! Head to Pazzos in Avon instead!

Pizza sauce, toppings etc good, BUT not cooked long enough IMO. I like pizza that is somewhat crispy, and this was very sloppy pizza. Even asked for it to be cooked again, came out the same just warmer. This might be your style, but if your expecting any type of crispness, this is not the place.

Waited for almost 2 hours for a table. After sitting the manager came to us, a group of 12, pushing to get the order in 3 minutes because she will close the kitchen. The Manager name is Kelly ( or similar), a cold blodded treatment. No respect for my family and cero personal skills.

Terrible service. Good luck getting a take out order. At a restaurant where the bar is always full to have one bartender working who is also in charge of takeout orders is just poor management. It serves to aggravate customers and leaves money on the table.

Fantastic, delicious pizza that the whole family loves. I highly recommend the cheesy garlic breadsticks. We ordered takeout from here twice and service was quick. We even added an item to the order once we were there and just took a few minutes.

I have eaten here many times. Yes they are very busy so sometimes you wait a little but thats what happens at a great place to eat. Love sitting out on the patio and enjoying the mountain views. Just great Pizza.

Ordered a pizza for carryout. Pizza was good, service was good. Its a busy resort restaurant though so dont expect the same experience as your local hometown pizza joint. Go to the bar to pick up your carryout.
