Came in for dinner with two kids on a Thursday night. We were seated at a table in the sun, which we accepted as they were moderately busy. Shortly after a table next to us in the shade opened up so we asked to move and were told no. A few minutes later another family, also of four asked to move to a table that had just opened up and were moved immediately, wait staff even helped move their salads. We ordered two orders of pasta and two pizzas. (Which wasnt too bad, but mediocre at best.) The pasta orders came almost 30 minutes after the pizzas. We werent asked or warned, no one came and apologized for the long wait. While we were waiting (my 8 year old was one of the pasta orders) I asked to talk to the manager who told me they were backed up and that the moving table issues was just a miscommunication. They ended up removing the pasta orders from our bill, but we definitely wont be back. The service was unorganized and unprofessional. We were never checked on, no drinks refilled and not even water refreshed until we asked for a new bottle.

The food portions were skimpy, the food was good just not enough chicken for an item named CHICKEN pesto. Ordered extra shrimp all 3 came to $1 a piece. My friends order was LATE and screwed up, burnt crust, in which the server at first said whoops we screwed up your order by bringing out the wrong pizza. When asked can he just eat this one till the correct order comes out, the server replied sure but were going to charge you for it!!! 5 minutes later the correct pizza comes, no apologies, and after a while I came to realize with the location and this being Park City, Utah the service didnt have to be exceptional it just had to be satisfactory. Enough people pass through this city where the server didnt need to embrace the customer he just needed to bring a drink and the food ordered, refills and refreshers were not part of his job description. For the record the kids were all hungry after as well (2 13 year olds and an 11 year old) The service at the local Ice Cream/Fudge shop did a better job embracing the customer...

The food is very good. The service is not. I walked in with my wife and we were greeted by the host with a blank stare. We asked to sit outside and he grabbed a bottle of water and walked out, didnt hold the door or say anything. We sat down and he proceeded to take the plate in front of me and left another on the opposite side of the table. I want to state, there are no women working here that I have seen and I doubt the owner plans to hire any. I dont have a problem with this but at least hire someone pleasant. After a lengthy delay our waiter came by and we ordered our drinks and an appetizer to start. He then stood there silently for a minute entering our order via an app not saying a word. He did the same when we ordered our pizza and when we received our check. Very awkward and got the vibe this guy didnt care to be there. These were the only times we ever saw him so getting additional drinks during our meal wasnt an option.

We were in Park City a little over a week ago on vacation. After some research on where to eat one night, we settled on Vinto. The photos of their food looked good, we were in the mood for something Italian, and their posted hours said they were open. After the mile or so walk, we found a bustling Main Street. Most the the places were packed with people, and we shortly found out why. Vinto, among others, had decided they would rather shutter their doors that night in political protest rather than be open during their publicly-posted hours. A political statement was more important than their customers. When you let your politics blend with your business and negatively affect others, dont be surprised when it affects your bottom line. Well never be back. We cant trust that youll actually be open.

We are semi-locals to Park City and eat here 2-3 times/week. Why? - The salads are awesome (I love the Italian chopped salad) - The pizza is great (all of them) - Certain of the pasta specials can be phenomenal - The lasagna is great if you want something heavy - Really nice, inexpensive foreign wines by the glass - The entire meal/experience is a great value in a place (downtown Park City) where food can often be vastly overpriced. - The staff is courteous and fairly quick - The chef will adjust ingredients easily and they are very nice about splitting entrees (usually comes out already split) Vinto is the best value-to-quality restaurant in the Park City Main Street area. We look forward to more great meals there.

Overall the food was middle of the road. For Park City it was significantly better priced than other restaurants but it was also significantly lower end food. The artichoke appetizer is unreal but the bruschetta was really a stretch to call it bruschetta... Pizzas may be wood fired but they lack the signature smoky fire taste and the sausage penne really tasted like hamburger helper... Devoid of seasoning or anything unique or flavorful. For a fairly cheap dinner it was worth it but if youre looking for good Italian or just general pizza Park City has much better to offer...

I have been wanting to try Vinto for a while, my husband and I love visiting Park City and we finally had lunch here. As an appetizer we ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious, it didnt even taste like eggplant. We also split an insalata mista, which was a simple green salad. The pizza we chose was the portobello. It was amazing. It was a light crispy crust, packed with beautiful toppings that tasted amazing. The price was decent, and we left full. Would definitely eat here again!

The food was really good, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality. The service during this visit was terrible, but I dont think thats representative or I would have given a lower rating. Everything we ordered was good. The dishes are pretty light and the serving sizes just a tad on the small size as a result. The best experience here would be to plan on appetizers or a salad, followed by an entree and then dessert. That would guarantee leaving satisfied.

Have no problem giving this place a solid 5 stars. Not only were the one of the more moderate priced places in town, the flavor was incredible. We returned in the week because we enjoyed it so much. Their pizzas are fantastic and so was their gelato. The waitress was incredibly helpful with our questions and lack of knowledge when it came to the terms used in the menu. The feel of the restaurant matched the quality of food as well. Beautiful little restaurant.

Just left this place. My family and I were sitting at our table for quite a while and didnt even have anyone come over to take our drink order or anything. We watched as every table around us including parties who were seated well after us get service. When we finally had had enough we informed the host that we were leaving and why and no one seemed to care or even attempt to get a server or anything. Customer service was nonexistent.
