I give the food a 10 out of 5 stars. Everything is made from scratch & you can tell because of the amazing flavors. Lots of GF options. The huevos rancheros are AMAZING & the GF pancakes taste even better then the regular ones. The cupcakes, macaroon cookies are ALL Super delicious. BUT, they need more staff!!! They need more waitresses to help keep the Customer service as amazing as the food. We went in on a Sunday for breakfast. We were seated without a drink order & then it took 25 minutes before we could get a waitress to our attention to get drinks and a total of an hour before we got our food. The food was so amazing that I wanted to give them another chance. My friends and I came in on a Tuesday & yet again the food was out of this world good, but the waitresses were half par. It took them 20 minutes before taking a drink order & we had to ask 3 times to get our tables wiped down. Training of the staff & more staff would make this place amazing!!! **On Sunday I watched Multiple families walk in & leave because they would wait 10 plus mintues to even have a greeting to be seated. Again, the food is amazing & I will suffer thru the horrible customer service & go back because it is THAT good!!!

THE GREEN CHILI!!!!!! Winner 4yrs in a row in chili cook off and made by the owners of the urban eatery. First time ever having green chili myself and glad i tried it here first. The chili is in and also smothered over their breakfast/lunch burritos, Smothered tamales, Huevos Rancheros. I recommend trying it with their fresh made chicharrons. The food is simply amazing since its made fresh to order and lots of variety from hot or cold plates, fulling or light and gluten free plates. Dont even get me started on the beautiful sweet donut and bakery selection they have with customized filled to order long johns and bizmarks. NO OTHER PLACE DOES THIS! 5 diffrent fillings to choose from... i personally LOVE the blackberry in a powdered bismark paired with a frapped carmel macchiato from their full expresso bar.. trust me! this will be your new addiction with all the fresh options and specialty coffees and drinks..... wonder if they have a hotline for daylight addictions... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I really wanted to like Daylight because they have a selection of gluten free items as well as gluten free treats, and because they have Allegro coffee. Unfortunately, our waitress didnt seem to know the menu very well or what is in their food. I had questions about the menu and was asking about gluten free entrées specifically, so I figured she knew I couldnt do gluten. But she offered to add green chile to my order. I started having a reaction this morning (which I havent had in years) but I dismissed it because I thought Id been careful. Called the restaurant today and find it theres flour in their green chile. So, while my meal actually did taste really good, and I did order what was a gluten free entrée before the add-on, Im now going to be looking forward to being bed-ridden with fatigue, brain fog, severe drowsiness, and abdominal pain for about a week. Some of us arent asking about gluten free by choice, people. Please be more careful.

This donut shop is amazing! Not only do they have some of the most amazing and delicious donuts Ive ever tried but their food is out of this world. They make an amazing green chilli that is to die for. I asked the owner for the recipe and its an award winning green chilli and ingredients are top secrete. Ive tried all the dishes which is new for me as I usually stick to one thing where ever I go. They just came out with skillets that have me coming back everyday! My favorite DISH is their fajita steak skillet. Omg I went to heaven and back. Their service is great but dont expect immediate food in minutes as all your food is prepared fresh and hot. So its worth the wait. A woman named Kizzi served me and I have to say its nice to have such great service! Most companies over look this but they make it feel like home. Come hungry and come soon because this hidden wonder is worth experiencing in your life! I truly love it!

First, the good things. The place is new and clean. The staff is very friendly and the donuts I bought were good. I personally came for the "kolaches" and was extremely disappointed. Having really enjoyed kolaches in TX during my travels- the description sounded like what I was used to. Light and fluffy sweet roll filled with sausage and cheese. It was not what I expected and not something I would eat again. Part of this is my fault because I assumed. These kolaches were wrapped tight by a flat breading and drizzled with something sticky. I would not order these if you are used to the TX style Kolache. I wasnt expecting anything sticky drizzled over mine and it kind of ruined the experience. They were definitely not in a fluffy roll either. But if youre going for the donuts, you wont be disappointed.

The line has been ridiculously long each time Ive been here. When I finally get to order their selection is always very limited. Being out of Raised Glazed only 3-1/2 hours after opening is pretty sad. Thatd be like Taco Bell being out of Tortillas. The manager was VERY rude when I called to ask why they didnt have a sign up for people in line detailing that they were basically "out-of-donuts" . I have to drive almost 10 miles to get to this store, as its the closest one to me, but now I will have to drive farther to find a store that can keep the most common donuts on their racks for at least half of a business day.

I had a job interview with them, I was hired on the spot and given paperwork to fill out. I was told to come back on Monday to begin work. I had declined other job offers thinking I was hired. But then I received an email from them telling me they had found someone else who can work the hours they needed. Which is weird because I had open availability. I think that an email telling me they declined my employment was just unprofessional on their part. The right thing to do would have been to pick up the phone and call me.

This place is disappointing. They have a great opportunity, as there arent many other breakfast places in the area, but they arent taking advantage of it. They generally have long wait times and their food is mediocre. There are items on their menu that they dont serve anymore. Not to mention, their staff is less than helpful. It seems like its an inconvenience to them every time someone comes in and they seem to be in a constant state of chaos. Not a great place to go if you are trying to enjoy a relaxing breakfast.

The food is wonderful but the service is horrible. Plan on at least an hour to hour and a half for breakfast - not counting a wait. I have been here several times and had great food but never a good experience. The staff moseys around instead of trying to take care of customers. Every time I have been here I have to try to flag someone doesnt to refill coffee or even take our order. Today, I finally found two waitresses talking and asked for them to take my drink order and they argues over whos table I was.
