A Piece of Cake is completely unprofessional. I seriously dont understand how specifics on a contract can be read incorrectly and then we didnt even receive an apology when the situation was laid out. Squared, our vases, our invites, our Web site...all about our LV squared initials. If she had consulted her books and our contract she would have seen our cake was supposed to be square and not round. Were also upset that Steph Ortiz wants to lie about the time she left the reception when there are several eye-witnesses saying otherwise. She tacked on an extra $100 "service" fee and has the nerve to try to charge us after making the wrong cake. She makes a great tasting cake and has reasonable prices, but terrible business ethic. Not out to get her or seek revenge, just warning future brides and grooms and others needing cakes that you may not receive what you asked for and you might end up paying hard-earned money to be unhappy.

Stephanie did my October 2010 wedding and I could not have received a more beautiful cake or had better service. She worked with us over several months and called me several times the week of the wedding to make sure the cake was what I wanted. She traveled over 40 miles to deliver my cake and stayed to cut the cake for me all for a very reasonable price. I received tons of compliments on my cake at my wedding and on top of all that the cake was absolutely delicious. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good cake for any occasion, because on my wedding day when I had a ton to worry about one thing I know I didnt have to stress over was my cake!

*********** WARNING!!! ********** Lallo Vigil, we had the same experience with our wedding cake. The contract was for a SQUARE cake, the night before the wedding was the first time I saw the cake and i was EXTREMELY upset!!! Especially after paying almost $1,000!!! We had no other choice, we were stuck with it. I guess it wouldnt have been so bad if the taste of the cake made up for it, but that was also a big thumbs down! I wouldnt give any stars but in order to put this WARNING out, I had to. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH WHO YOU CHOOSE TO CREATE YOUR MEMORIES! P.S. Her mother catered out wedding and she was amazing and VERY professional, unlike Steph.

I called this bakery to see if they sold gluten-free cupcakes. The women responded with attitude "no". Then hung up without saying bye or anything. I did not appreciate the attitude they will not be getting any of my business.

Feels like a "drug deal", order by phone, knock on the back door, guy hands you your order after you give him money! The cakes were delicious.
