I have been going to the Landsdowne Arms for several years and the food and service was good. Unfortunately, due to the actions of Joe the manager, I will never return. We had a large group meeting there to socialize (eat, drink) and watch the fireworks display. Joe, the upstairs manager, told the leader of our group that we were not welcome. He seemed to feel that our group was taking up space and not providing any revenue, which was not true. About 80% had ordered at least one drink and close to half had already ordered food (which was not easy considering how long it took to get a servers attention). When I tried to tell Joe about an issue with one of the beers on tap that the bartenders seemed to care nothing about (which seemed to match their attitude about their customers at the bar), he immediately told me that we could not save seats. I reiterated the issue with the beer, but it obviously fell on deaf ears. This is not the first time the service on the patio has been terrible, but it will be the last time I ever patronize Lansdowne Arms while Joe is still a manager there. I notice that they advertise "Good for Groups"...definitely not our experience.

I could see this place being leaps and bounds better in warmer weather but the waitstaff at my visit last night was a bit of a downer. And with only "average" food I was grateful my pint was nice and cold. Part of the restaurant was closed for a private party so we were "discouraged" from "taking up" a table in the dining room to "just chat and have cocktails" and if that were all we planned on doing maybe it wouldnt have bothered me... BUT our party of 7 ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner AND dessert. I wont be planning another group dinner there again. It was a disappointment after reading some good reviews. If you go with friends try to sit in the bar area and order dessert, it was the highlight of our meal (along with the cold pint).

I contacted the general manager by e-mail on several occasions about holding part of our wedding reception here. Since I currently live out of state and have limited time to plan in the area, I tried to set up an appointment to meet with her in advance so that we could discuss reception possibilities. She specifically said that we could stop in at any time to get information, so we dropped by after the lunch rush. Unfortunately, no one working could give us any information about holding a reception. We were told we would need to come back in several hours, and when we did, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

This isnt a Michelin restaurant, but the staff and food acts like they would like to be. Great and interesting selection of items on a well prepared menu make this an enjoyable dining experience. The staff knows how to ask if you need something: without hovering over you, and when you arent chewing. Bar service is wonderful, and the prices are a value for the quality of the preparation. You can tell the staff cares because the little details are attended. noting littering the floors, and clean tables always greet diners. Its a great place for a business lunch of family dinner. There can be a wait for tables, but That is a sign that they are doing it right.

Terrible service. Took about seven minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us in the outdoor seating area. A waitress finally took our order, and two minutes later we had a new waitress taking our order again. When trying to get our bill, I had to walk around looking for the waitress so that we could finally leave. The couple at the table next to us had a free round given to them by a manager because they complained about their service. We wont go back again since this is the second time there and second bad experience, and it was a quiet Sunday evening.

The establishment is run by fools! They have this great 2nd floor outdoor patio where they brag about the views of downtown Denver and the Front Range on their web site. THE PATIO IS NEVER OPEN! They only have it open on Friday and Saturday, and Saturdays are taken up with either private parties or, you wont believe this, KARAOKE!!! Who wants to listen to flat singing up there when you are there to enjoy the scenery and the company of friends! Ill wait for new management that appreciates the gem they have in that patio and open it up more...

Poor bartending. From their menu description and prices, I assumed I could expect a decent cocktail. I ordered an old fashioned (classic cocktail), which was pretty much an extremely sweet juice with a splash of bourbon (not to mention the ice). A cocoa cocktail claiming to use premium chocolate turned out to just use Hersheys chocolate syrup. Very dissapointing. Not sure if this is more of a burger and beer type of place (didnt order any food) but I strongly recommend against this place for any craft or high end drinks.

The service was awful. The beer was slow, the server return to table was slow. It took about 50 minutes to get bread to put in the mussel sauce. I really want to like this place but we have been here six times and each time the service was spotty. The food is very good. The manager seems nice but as soon as you bring up an issue he scampers off like a scared bunny. Hes awful. The service is awful. The food is pretty dang good but the manager and the waitress blamed the kitchen for everything. Shame on the manager.

Awesome Irish pub with a killer patio and friendly staff. Some great menu choices and all your favorite tap beers are here. Happy hour food is cheap, and the 20 oz. beers are $3 each! Ive been in six times and have always been greeted right away and well taken care of. Dont listen to these whiny, pretentious babies talking about service speed. Its a pub people, relax with a drink. If youre in a big hurry or feel more important than everyone else around you, please STAY HOME. Youre ruining the vibe and youre rude.

We go there frequently twice a month and love the Rueben Sandwiches and fish and chips. We usually go for lunch as we do not like to eat too much late in the day. Their service is just right and the food is excellent for the items mentioned above. And, there are half orders which is great for women and children. Just right. I would absolutely recommend them for lunch. The service is not hovering but is excellent and not too intrusive.

2nd time there was for Mothers Day yesterday. WILL NEVER GO BACK Reasons: 1)Hair in food, both soup and artichoke dip 2)40 min wait from order of food to bringing out dinner which included mac n cheese, rueben, 2 mugs of soup. 3)both wife and I, whom split rueben, have been sick to stomach since. Both times i was there i had bad service, and being that the food is so so i will find another Irish Pub to spend my money at. NO THANKS

We had our rehearsal dinner here this past fall. We reserved the library room. We couldnt be happier with the evening. The service was wonderful and the food exceptional - especially for the price we paid. Almost every one of our guests made a point to tell us how particularly good their food was and wondered how we found such a great place! Thank you to the wonderful staff. You guys outdid yourselves.
