I had the tonkatsu ramen, and I found it very underwhelming. Nothing tasted fresh, overcooked egg, and the broth was not impressive whatsoever. I would not recommend this place for ramen. My friend ordered the chicken udom, and that tasted pretty good. It had good seasoning and the noodles were very nice to eat. The yam tempura was tasty as well; its what I expected for tempura. The gyoza was not very good, however. They were very soggy and had a fake pan seared flavor to them. I wouldnt have been surprised if they were heated up in a microwave from the taste and texture.

Its a small place with good atmosphere. Service was fast. The waiter was nice, although I did have a hard time hearing him be cause his voice was soft. But he was very kind and sweet. I got the bento box and let me say it wasnt worth 10, I was expecting a real authentic bento plating (was a let down and disappointed). I also got the tonkotsu ramen, the broth was amazing. We got free dessert, which was mango mochi ice cream and it was like heaven because I love mochi. Overall, I had a good experience.

Cream cheese wontons (pleasantly surprised with green onion inside), spring rolls and fried oysters appetizers all delicious, super fresh right out of the wok! Seafood and Champion ramen excellent. Super friendly and efficient service (one waiter during dinner hour, he kicked ass). Cozy super clean restaurant. Cant wait to go back. Seems like a great place to hang out during off hours to snack and have a few beers. Thrilled there was only chopsticks on the table instead of forks and knives.

I visit Tokyo quite often (about 10 times a year) and had many different types of authentic Japanese Ramen. (Im mentioning this to make a point that I know Ramen). While this place is not as good as the places in Japan, it is darn close. The noodle is different than the authentic Japanese ramen noodles, but the broth is quite well done! In fact, this is by far the best Japanese Ramen place in the twin cities Ive visited. Ill definitely come back again.

The service and atmosphere were great. The selection was great. The ramen itself was good, but not amazing. The broth was the best part - they really do a great job on the broth - but, the eggs needed more time to marinate and the bowl accoutrements were not as varied as Ive seen elsewhere. The prices were fantastic - dinner for two plus dessert was less than $30.00. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes ramen and I would return there as well.

Has some nice ramen varieties with good price-to-quantity ratio. The ramen comes in a large soup bowl with chunky pieces of meat and a large soup ladle to drink from. The appetizers are quite different from the usual fare in Asian restaurants, with items such as fried octopus balls (Takoyaki) and fried oysters. Seems quite authentic in taste and presentation as there are no spoons and forks provided, just chopsticks. Would definitely visit again.

The bone broth is the best thing. Creamy and savory with hint of sweetness of the pork bone. The ramen is al dente, soft, tender without being mushy at all. Portions are a bit on the small side for $10.95 a bowl. Do try the Fried Oyster appetizer. The oysters are big and juicy, very lightly breaded. Dipping sauce is combination of oyster sauce with a dash of dashi/soy. 4 for $4.95, the deal is hard to beat!

Good ramen! and the Gyoza is da bomb! the Soup is not too salty like other places, just right. We dined in and also order extra to bring home, multiple times.. cant complain one bit. Service is awesome too. Took some co-workers there, and they loved it as well. keep up the good work :) and no, the ramen does not taste like raw fish like this ONE person said.. what are you smoking? lmao

Lived in Japan for 9 years. I have gone to many Japanese restaurants but this place is by far the best I have found. The food is authentic and the aromas take me back to a very happy time in my life. If you havent tried Japanese food or just want good Japanese flavors, this is the place to go. The ramen soup is my favorite!

10/10 (or in this case 5/5) The Ramen Station was filling, delicious, and everything I wanted to see in an authentic ramen-based restaurant. Although young and rather simplistic, I truly hope to see the business grow and fulfill the great potential it has. I cant wait to bring my friends along for my next experience!

They offer authentic Ramen. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and I would say that it tasted alright, although not the best Ive had. The atmosphere was good albeit a small place. I wish they had quality tea. Instead they gave me a mug with a lipton green tea bag in it. Offering nothing to take the bag out to place on either.

I live in Fridley and drove almost an hour through traffic to try this place out and boy, it was definitely worth the drive. Service was great except a little trouble understanding the server. Will totally be coming back and telling all my family and friends about this place.

Very friendly staff and suuuuper yummy Udon Noodles. The price is pretty decent for the amount of food that you get as well. Also super funny when your friends dont know how to use chopsticks but dont want to ask for a fork ^^. They do have forks, just need to ask!

Its so good to not have to go to mpls to get authentic ramen! It was delicious! I had the tonkotsu and my friend had the shoyu ramen. Both were awesome! The restaurant itself is small and minimal, yet cozy. The service was good too. Definitely going to come back.

Excellent ramen, a pleasant surprise in the burbs; better than many places in the city. Tea was just a mug and tea bag with no saucer. I think some aspects of the presentation could be classed up. Server was very polite and attentive. Will definitely come back!

They are lucky to get 1 star. This place was recommended, but we were very disappointed by the blandness of the food. Moreover, we ordered the seafood ramen and had hot pink swirl imitation (????)??. I wish I could insert picture here. #nogood.

Very good. I had the beef ramen, and it was very good. (Kind of spendy, but you get large chunks of beef, vegetables, and noodles). Worth the $10, as I had half of it left over and it reheats very very well. Cant wait to go back.

Came for lunch, but the ingredients did not taste fresh. Seems to have been sitting for a while, especially the bamboo shoots. Thankfully I didnt get sick. The service was okay, nothing special. Edit: Spelling

Clean, casual - yet very nice - space. Really enjoyed the Tonkotsu Ramen. And I will add that my visiting Japanese clients rated the visit a 5 as well. Well done!

Got Miso and many types of Ramen. Noodles were great in the soup ... Not mushy. Soup was flavorful. Tried veg, seafood and shrimp. All good. Will come back.

The seafood ramen was amazing! It was startling (not an exaggerating) to eat a meal from a restaurant which doesnt taste like repackaged grocery food.
