Lets begin by saying that The Daily Meal rated this place as 3rd worst restaurant in America. Lets follow that by saying that Ive eaten here more times than I would like to admit, because I was in a hurry, and I work 3 blocks away, and after today, I will NEVER eat here again. Let me share some of my observations about this place: - The food here a few years ago was actually decent, but over the years has been deteriorating to an alarming "Holy S**t" state. - The sesame chicken, contains NO chicken, Im not kidding, theres seriously NO F**KING CHICKEN, in the Sesame Chicken. - The deep fried fish, has darkened and discolored areas, and if you know fish, you know its on the far opposite side of the "fresh" spectrum, along with the funky taste. Also, comes with a free side of hair. Im not making this up. - The pork, oh, the pork used to be my favorite. Now the pork is just fat, of something that is probably not pork. - They serve the smallest portions of meat possible, with a shitload of Lo Mein or Rice taking over the whole plate. - Theres always one of their 2 old angry, life hating, customer ignoring, yelling in chinese all the time ladies in the front, to provide you with what was officially rated as Americas 3rd worst restaurant customer service experience. - Dear God this place is filthy, so very, very filthy. - If youre still reading this, I hope its for the sake of finishing, and not because youre considering eating here, RUN. Youre in luck though. One of the best dollar scoop style restaurants is just 6 blocks away. Crazy Asian Express: drive to the north side of I-70 just 6 blocks to 47th St. In the North West corner where the Wells Fargo is, you will find Crazy Asian Express to the right of Wells Fargo. Excellent food.

Went on weekday afternoon. The food was decent. The fried rice was tasty. It was slightly greasier than usual and had a neat hint of garlic which I liked. The portion was humongous! I also had the BBQ pork and the sesame chicken. The pork was good and tasty, some parts were slightly fattier than I was used to but I would have it again. The sesame chicken was typical. Some pieces are pretty much mostly breading. The eggroll was pretty typical, I don’t think I would have one next time. The price for this large meal was exactly $5. The rest of the food items looked good and I would like to come back. Their fried chicken and BBQ chicken drumsticks looked awesome and I think I will try that next time. They also featured a whole fried tilapia which looked exotic and a lot to eat. That could be fun. The inside feels used, drab, unimpressive and there was someone selling CDs and movies with that pirated vibe by the entrance and there were clothes hanging behind where you order. I guess they also sell clothes too? I think that part of the business caters to people from a particular culture the owners are familiar with.

I will never return to this place. The customer service was horrible. We asked the lady for the price of her food and since I couldnt understand her I asked her a second time. She got all mad and started yelling the price. The whole time we ordered she was looking at us all mad. There was no clean table to sit at and the whole time we were there they kept yelling back and forth in their language. Not that Im against them speaking their language but when you make a customer feel its them theyre talking about thats not cool. When we left we asked her for a bag since we didnt finish our food. She threw the bag at us and walked away to attend her other customers. Worst fast food experience ever and a waste of money as food was not even all that great.

Es muy bueno por un precio muy bajo. Por eso la calificación tan buena, la comida es el mismo menú que en todos los restaurantes chinos de comida rápida, pero tiene un toque bastante casero, lo cual me agrada. no es un lugar de lujo, los empleados no son amables es cierto, pero son bastante neutrales en su trato.

Be prepared to pay for everything. Im not talking about the food, Im talking about dipping sauce, fortune cookies, chopsticks, everything!! They use to give you Coke or Pepsi with their $5 combo but switched to a cheap generic soda. Then they market produce they get from the Denver Rescue Mission or some place like it. The place is always hot inside (just like their store on Colorado Blvd). Horrible customer service. Wouldnt recommend this place to my neighbors dog.

How is this place still in business! The first time i came here at least the wontons were good, and now they are just cold and disgusting, not to mention the sweet&sour sauce is more water than sauce. There is absolutely no reason to go here. I wouldnt even come here if i was homeless and getting a free meal. The women serving are as rude as a can be, the place is filthy, and id be scared to see what the kitchen looks like. Worst Chinese Restaurant Ever!

They must have read their reviews. Ive been staying walking distance from here for over a month and I frequent all "dollar scoop" restaurants so I have been here a few Times. Ive seen the woman whom seems to talk to herself in another language (shes actually talking with her co-workers). Ive gotten charged extra but when confronted they made it right. the restaurant is clean. The food is great. ..their pepper shrimp is as good as any. Cheap and great.

I love the food here! Its delicious and priced right! Youll always get a heaping plate of hot food. The workers are good people & respectful to the customers! Im very picky about where I eat, and I only go to 3 resteraunts in Aurora. Ho Mei is the best priced & my family loves Ho Mei!!!

This place went from a 4 star to a 1 star i came in today hoping it would be better but to my disappointment they served me rotting broccoli beef as soon as i took a bite of it my stomach turned it tasted like the beef went bad and they still cooked it will not be coming back

STAFF WAS RUDE HAD TO WAIT OVER 10 MINUTES FOR LO MEIN FOOD WAS NASTY MY KIDS WERE TREATED LIKE CRAP WHEN TRYING TO USE THE RESTROOM THAT WAS DIRTY HAD NO TP OR PAPER TOWELS. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. NEEDS A INSPECTION AND HOPEFULLY THEY CLOSE IT DOWN.

Food is super crappy. Its fast and cheap. Perfect for people who dont care so much about the taste, just need a quick bite. I go there from time to time if I want to take a short lunch break but want better food than Mcdonalds
