My wife picked this restaurant because it had good reviews but our experience was different. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce and my wife ordered sesame seed chicken. The order was placed at 1353 hrs (during lunch). Typically Chicken w/garlic sauce comes with broccoli, mushrooms, and sometimes sliced peppers of some type. Also on the menu there is no other description other than "spicy," mine had every vegetable in my to go order, ( celery, green peppers, red peppers, whole green peas, onions, green and white). When I took my order back to ask them to make me something else because it wasnt listed in the menu that it had all those vegetables, the lady behind the counter that I assume to be the manager, told me it was my fault for not knowing that garlic chicken came with all those vegetables. When I explained that it was not listed on their menu, she told me that if they had to list it on every menu it would be very costly for them. When I asked her what about the one on the internet which is the one I viewed, she ignored the question and said she would make me something else this one time. After getting my new order and returning home I realized the egg rolls that are listed on the lunch menu were missing from my order. My wife thought the chicken was over cooked and dry. I gave this place two stars because she replaced my order.

Ive now tried about 85% of all the Chinese places in town. I took my fiance here because Ive heard my friends say its amazing. After ordering the beef and broccoli which is my favorite thing to order and my girl ordered combination fried rice. It was awful, the meat was rougher then liked, the sauce tasted like they dumped a pound of ginger and garlic in there. the soups were very bland. My fiances was over greasy. we just got to go boxs because we were let down, and our enthusiasm dropped from the high expectations. Overseas 101s is the best hands down Chinese food in town, there beef and broccoli has, bamboo shoot, snowpea sprots, carrot, and there eggdrop has corn and cabbage and tofu cubes, they make everything top of the line and go above and beyond =/ I feel bad so many people are dedicated to places like this without trying them all.... Maybe I just thought it tasted like crap because I had so many other good places to compare it to, if it was my first time ever trying Chinese food, I might have liked it if I didnt actually know what good chinesse tasted like.

Overall by far the best Chinese food you can put in your stomachs...hands down! (no "brainer") From their yummy A+++ Sesame Chicken to as unique as their Wonderful Chicken dish...definitely cant get enough of all the selections of delicious food! The amount of time they put into their presentation on all their plates you already know they aim to not only please your taste buds but visually as well! Must try if you live in the springs! Cannot get enough of their friendly awesome staff, ut-most respect. Great family owned traditional business. Been around for a long time! Been a loyal regular for quite some time and havent had any better. Side note: I dont understand some of what these people say about their customer service. I mean you gotta give respect to get respect and from my experience their staff does that to the letter! Would recommend to all to try at least once! #BestintheSprings

This place is great. I was in Colorado Springs and meant to try the location there but didnt have time but to my surprise one had opened up in CO upon my return. I had the lunch special- Porkbelly, fried chicken and tofu with Taro fries. The buns were soft and steamy just like theyre supposed to be. The pork belly had the most flavor, the chicken was good albeit slightly dry and surprisingly the tofu had good flavor to it. I was expecting a little more from the taro fries but the sauce they came with made up for the slight lack of flavor. I also had one of their jelly lemonades. The lemonade wasnt overpoweringly sugary. It had that light refreshing taste that you look for in lemonade. The line here moves slowly but its worth the wait.

Went here a long time ago and it was really good but I didnt go back since we live on other side of town. This is going to be my only first choice when having Chinese food, will pass 20 other Chinese restaurants ot the way. Crab Rangoon was right on and hot and sour soup was excellent. Both meals ordered had care put into the presentation. One meal had shrimp that were delicate with the same for other meal that had scallops. Service was always there to keep the cups full and table clean of extra dishes. Every thing brought out was steaming hot and couldnt have been waiting for any time to come out. This has to be one of the largest menus so dont be surprised that you order something different.

Ordered Orange chicken like I have many times from THIS location as it is the one who delivers to our neighborhood. When i had gottem my order it was something completely different than what I have always ordered in the past. When I had called to try and get the issue resolved and them send the correct food I was told with a huge attitude "well thats just how we make it" and with the girl telling me I was wrong. I hung up after saying that they no long have my business. I got a call back with a voicmail of the same girl giving me a link to their website telling me to read the menu. RUDE! Worse customer service. DO NOT USE THEM.

This is the best Chinese food Ive ever had. I have never eaten in house as I always have it delivered to my business. Its not on the menu, but I call and ask for General Taos Chicken. Ive eaten this dish at soooo many other Chinese joints and these guys BY FAR have the best. The chicken has that kind of crunchy glaze on the outside, where everybody else kind of gives you a wet, slimy chicken. Its served with bright colored fresh veggies + orange/ cucumber slices for a super fresh taste. Super good. Whoever answers the phone at lunch is very polite, nice and helpful. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

For the first time, I ordered dinner for delivery. The total was 10% higher than the online menu stated even though it states "free delivery w/$15 minimum" and also taking into consideration sales tax. I still gave the driver a tip because Im sure that wasnt his fault. I was shorted part of my order and the food wasnt good at all. It wasnt disgusting, but it wasnt good. This is confusing because Ive eaten there, dine-in, for lunch on several occasions and always received good food at a good price. Even though it was a small sum, I still feel ripped off. I dont know whether Ill give them another chance.

Ive been going to China Village since before I lived in Colorado Springs and LOVE it. Some of the best Chinese food in town. Best hot and sour soup Ive had anywhere in Springs yet. Staff can seem a bit dry to some but thats just cause they treat everyone like family so they comfortable with you quick. If youre looking for good food and a casual atmosphere this is a great place. Get to know the staff and it goes up a notch. As regulars, a co-worker and I could go in and not even need a menu and they would bring our drinks and food right out. Highly recommend China Village.
