The only thing I liked about this place was the proximity to my home. I knew something was wrong because being a Chinese restaurant I anticipated waiting for my food at least 20 minutes. I placed my order for take out 5 minutes from the location. I got there 5 minutes from when i placed my order.I go inside and my order was already done. That just didnt seem right. I knew right away it was not fresh. The pu pu platter was disgusting. The shrimp had obviously been cooked already and then re-fired on a pan with some oil. The shrimp was so rubbery. The meat was dry and clearly old. All around just some garbage with no flavor. I wouldnt come back unless I want food poisoning. I knew I should have stuck with coal mine dragon (who are phenomenal btw). *Side note is that customer service is less than adequate. I call in and he clearly was not paying attention. I asked for normal spicy and he confirms my order with super spicy. "Um, thats not what I said." Then I say my order is for Stacey and he confirms my order for Susie. CRAP SERVICE.

Worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Tried this place out because of the reviews, ordered half duck and sesame chicken combo plate, to go. The phone was answered by a very short toned woman and then put on hold (I could still hear other conversations going on) before a man answered and took my order. Duck was over done and bland tasting, sesame chicken was dry, the soup that came with it was left open and spilled all through the bag, the white rice that came with it was extremely dry and there were chunks of sauce in both containers. The only good part was the huge portions given, but it doesnt make up for the terrible food. We took 2 bites and said that it was awful. We spent $30 for two plates. Not worth it. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Exceptional Chinese food! Wow. We had several dishes as we had a large party of 9. The war wonton soup was amazing along with the hot and sour soup. Even the fried rice was rocking! General Tso was unbelievably delicious. You cant go wrong here. I am a Chinese food snob and this so far beats anything in the springs where we live. I would make a special trip down here to eat. Cant say enough about it. Yes! So far best I have had in Colorado. I moved here a year ago from Pennsylvania where good Chinese food is plentiful. Glad we stopped here. Too bad its not closer to my home but I would travel from the springs to eat here.

My family and I LOVE this place! Everything weve tried here is delicious. We usually just order by carry out, but the atmosphere inside is also a nice option, very cozy and inviting, yet classy at the same time! Were very fortunate to have this restaurant extremely close by, and it would be worth the drive even if it wasnt. My only complaint is that I can smell the deliciousness from my porch sometimes and it makes me jealous if Im not able to order right then and there!!:) Order the crab cheese wontons or sesame chicken...-Cecelia

PROS: Decor and lighting in the restaurant is quite pleasant. Great food. CONS: The staff is rude. They dont smile at or greet you when you come in. This time a small child was sitting on the pick up counter while her mother answered the phone and took orders. When the mother went to move the kid she (the kid) stood up on the counter and struggled in her mothers arms. Yikes! I went to pay my bill (it was carry out) the hostess looked at the tip line and didnt say thank you or anything. Terrible music that is usually too loud.

My wife and I are in love with Dragon King. We live in Colorado Springs and drive down to Fountain just for this restaurant. There is no MSG ever in the food, a big plus for my wife, who cannot have MSG. The portions are amazing, the food excellent, and the service is outstanding. We have never been disappointed, and have never gone away hungry! The lunch menu includes entree + rice + wonton/spring-roll + soup, all for under $7.00.

Good food and friendly waiters. Only thing is that if youre in a hurry when dining in, you have to ask if you can get your meal right away because sometimes they wait to make and serve your food until youre done with your appetizer or soup. More than once when we ordered carry out, one of the ladies at the counter looks like shes in a bad mood. Her co workers need to tell her that this kind of job dealing with people isnt for her.

Food is ok but not worth the prices. The service is horrible and the staff is extremely rude. I placed a take out order and was rushed off the phone as if I was bothering the woman. When I came to pick up there were things missing from my order. The lady grabs the ticket and says I didnt ask for any of that. Im assuming that she wasnt paying attention or hung up on me.

Went for lunch today, great food and great service. Had the lunch special beef and broccoli, very good, and my daughter had chicken lomein, she loved it. The portions were good sized too, the meals were even good the 2nd time when we reheated it for supper. Love the fact you get a cheese wonton, soup, rice, and an entree for under $8. Will be eating here again.

I had a horrible experience at this place. My girlfriend and I went to get some dinner and the lady behind the counter taking our order was extremly rude. She rolled her eyes and continued to be snarky. We decided to leave and the man who worked there made baby faces and baby sounds at us. Extrememly un profesional and extremely expensive.

LOVING the food from this place. Much better than most. Dont listen to the haters. The Hot and Sour soup Is excellent. My personal favorite entree is the orange chicken. Sesame tofu is good also. The service was very good, prices reasonable, and the food was served very Hot and fresh. Totally worth your time and cash.

Just tried it this week & it was wonderful! Food was awesome w/large portions (except the steamed rice) & the staff were very helpful & friendly. I had stopped going 2 Chinese restaurants because I was tired of rude, pushy, owners, waiters and cooks but now I can go out to eat Chinese food & enjoy it again.

Dragon King has given me back my favorite foods! I am so thrilled to find a place that has a full menu of food thats MSG free - AND that gives it in wonderful size portions that taste delicious. The drive from the Springs is easy - just take Powers all the way down and youre there. Highly recommended!

This is one of my most favorite places to eat. This is by far one if the best asian restaurants in fountain. Ive tried various others and this is by far the best tasting of the bunch. Staff knows me and my family we go there so much. The soups and plates are so good. This place is second to none.

This place is awesome. The food is really delicious and they give huge portions. I often go there for lunch, and usually end up taking home about half of my main dish. The restaurant itself is clean with nice decor. I go here at LEAST once a week!
