About a year ago I had to eliminate gluten from ny diet. Eating out typically means a salad-and rarely can you get anything fried. I am so excited about this extensive gluten free menu! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer! Also a great selection of GF Beer including one on tap (I am not personally a beer drinker, but was surprised by the selection).I was also excited to learn that all of the sauces are gluten free including the teriyaki sauce! Burgers are amazing and the GF fried artichokes were delicious. Often GF items are a bit on the "dry" side- everything tasted so great and the buns were fluffy enough that I asked my sever to verify that it was indeed GF - it was - and she told me that they serve all GF items with a pick (mine was a red sword) so there is no confusion leaving the kitchen. After speaking with the owner, who stopped by to see how our food was, she assured me that all employees are knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities. Craving a GF Burger and Fries? This is the place to go!

I used to live in the neighborhood and was always a huge fan of the Fed. For some reason, the food seems a bit "meh" now. I loved the quinoa bowl they served for breakfast - it was super hearty but I guess thats been gone for a while. I ordered the Breakfast burger medium and it there was no pink. The gravy on top didnt have a lot of taste to it but the concept is great! The potatoes were mushy and not hot. Our friend ordered the Ring of Fire which he said he liked but it also looked well done rather than medium. I do love the patio out back! Upsides - great mimosa deals! Overall, with the food not being amazing as in the past, it feels more like a sports bar rather than a really great restaurant with a sports bar feel.

Very good quality food and is actually safe for celiac diners! It can sometimes be difficult to find a crowd-pleaser that will also suit the folks in your party that have allergies or other dietary issues. But not at Federal Bar and Grill! They use a separate fryer and are very informed about which dishes are safe. On top of all of that, the food is delicious! I dont have any dietary issues myself and have always been thrilled with the quality, especially the homemade ranch dressing. Plus, the price is excellent.

Rudest Bartender i ever met. Disrespectful to my father and myself. I have been a bar tender at a way bigger and more popular place then this s***hole. I was mortified at the service, if youd ever been to Dicks bar anywhere expect same service without the niche that they are know for. Here just straight d., watched three other couples walk out as well. Too many places near by and Highlands vying for your business to waste your time here.

Im a little biased because I know everyone here. Plus I painted the logo mural on the side. However, if youre looking for a place in Denver that ALWAYS has a fresh new beer selection, this is it. The second project from the owners of Billys Inn, the Federal takes another historic dive bar and turns it into a warm neighborhood place to come and hang out.

Great place to catch a game. Food is a few notches above regular bar food. I recommend any of the burgers, as well as the cheese fries. Great neighborhood bar and grill. Its also relatively easy to get a spot at the bar upon arrival, depending on the event of the day. Shhhhhh! :) dont tell too many people about this great joint!!

Great local bar with really good food. I enjoy the Beer Club and coming in on Mondays to try new beers at a discount and occasionally win a brewery sponsored prize on the last Monday of the month. Their food, along with the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to come back week after week.

Cozy, art deco vibe meets biker bar with 80s music. Awesome selection of ever-changing beer with many other bar options. If youre a "dipper" youll love the 15+ house made sauces. If you need a Celiac-conscious / gluten-free menu, this is the place for you. Dont miss weekend brunch, either!

One of the best new restaurant/bars in the newly hip area. A pleasant surprise, the food here is better and more "gourmet" than you would expect from a bar on Federal. The atmosphere is nondescript, light and casual, and most will find it agreeable for a lunch or random hangout.

Great burgers. Good beer selection. Their fries were a bit over cooked. But the vibes trump the fries. Super chill. Great convo with other patrons at the bar and the bartender was really laid back but remained efficient at his job. Over all good experience.

The food was really good and the service was really good. Very nice people! They also had a nice little outdoor space. The only downfall was the "dispensary" across the street was closed. Not that I am into that sort of thing but a guy I know...

A federal Blvd location serving up great (and if you want it, super spicy) food coupled with a great beer menu. Perfect for a drop in lunch or a nice dinner. Easy to watch the games on TV or play your own games like shuffleboard and ping pong.

Great beer selection. Its not that the selection is vast, its that the selection carries uncommon beer. You can tell some thought went into the list. The strength of the food is in the appetizers section, bar food with a gourmet twist.

They use quality organic chicken, chicken bites are amazing and actually fresh delicious chicken. Yummy food, family friendly, free tasty popcorn from the popcorn machine and tons of games to play while you hang out.
