The best use of twenty taps that Ive come across in quite a while. I found at least 7 really interesting and tasty beers in one visit and I am kind of picky. Twenty Brew TapHouse is a real deal Colorado sleeper gem that is located on the west side of Sheridan, by Wallys Meats, about halfway between 120th Ave. and the I-36 interchange. The focus is on showcasing an abundance, via an an ever rotating list of twenty, great Colorado Beers and on keeping each pour affordable. I quite enjoyed the philosophy that Dave, one of the owners, outlined last night: no free tastes - because that policy helps keeps the cost of the 4oz. samplers and full pours down, all beers, ales, ciders are Colorado brewed, they only pick brews that they really think highly of and taste many per week to sort them out of the list and into the tap rotation at the Twenty Brew TapHouse. Once a keg is emptied they dont bring back that particular beer for 6-12 months, if they can get it again, and the whole point is to allow folks that stop by to try a lot of different, unique, high quality Colorado brews. They normally dont server brews from right down the street or a few miles away, because you can support those other places in person if you want those beers, but you they will offer quite a few great brews from the far-flung corners of CO. Food options were sparse, other than free stick pretzels, an occasional slice of pizza and bagged pretzel bites. That fact was not even a problem for me. The focus is entirely on the big board listing just about everything youd want to know about the 20 beers currently on tap and how full each keg is in that minute. There Point of Sale system deducts ounces poured and sold and lowers the displayed level of the beer in the keg on the big display after each draft is poured. The whole approach and execution of this place was just refreshing. Most 4 oz. pours were just $1.50 to $2.50 each and, with that many exceptional beers to choose from, 4 oz. is plenty. Give Twenty Brew TapHouse a try. Be sure to get a little guidance from the barrister to dial in on the great beers on tap that suit your interests. Dave was most knowledgeable and helpful and got me to try at least a beer or two that I really enjoyed, but which I had to look twice on the big board.

The concept is great, but could be better. Good beer selection, however seemed like half the beers came in 10 oz. Personally, Ill almost always get the <7% pint over the >7% 10 oz, so the pale ale selection they had for pints was limited. Thats just me personally. They rarely have the same beer on tap more than once, which is cool, and theyre all CO beers, also cool. They were a bit pricy, $6+ for most everything. There were some beers that were around $5, but mostly German and not my style. There were also some verts that where $8+ for a 10 oz, which Im not sure any beer is worth. Theyre deceiving about the space, very little in front, but around the corner theres a ton. I dont like thats they only have single men and womens stalls, should just be two unisex rooms. A lot of brewerys do this, too, which is annoying. Another annoying thing, not splashes or small tastes here. You can only get a $1.50-$2.50 taster of the 10oz or pint. Their logic is that since they only get a keg, they dont want to waste beer, at least thats what I got from it. The full tasters are reasonably priced though, usually in line with what a 10oz or pint is per ounce. Lastly, the main reason Im not the biggest fan of this place is that there is a place a few miles west that has 75 Colorado beers on tap for $5 for every pint, 10 oz for the higher abv stuff, but still $5. They have some beer that are on tap regularly but theres new stuff every week in every beer style. And still everything is $5. Also, you can get a splash of anything for nothing. This place is The Colorado Keg House. The incentive to go to 20 brew taphouse is very much diminished compared to what I can get at this place in the Arista development. Sorry.

This place is awesome. First off, note they do not make or sell any type of food other than some yummy pretzels BUT you can bring your own food with you or have anything you want delivered directly to the tap-house! If you love Colorado beers, this is the place for you. They always have 20 beers on tap, a wide variety of all types along with at least a cider or 2. One of the owners, Dave, was telling me they rotate the kegs out as soon as theyre empty and do not bring back the same beer for at least 12 months. They run through about 17 kegs a week, which means you could go every 2 weeks and always have 20 new brews to try. There is indoor corn hole in their back room, board games up front, great folks to chat with, along with occasional food trucks, brewery "take overs", and community potluck nights. All around a favorite spot of my husband and Is.

Really cool and friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly, and they have a couple foosball tables downstairs. Beyond the aesthetics, the staff is very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable in beer. They simply ask you what kind of beers you like, and give you recommendations. And as an avid beer drinker, I have to admit, they are spot on recommendations. When a keg runs out, you will not find it here for at MINIMUM one year. If you support local beer, want to try some of Colorados finest, enjoy making new/like minded friends, and love petting super chill dogs, you need to come here. 7/7 would recommend.

Its crazy to find a place that serves rare beer. Old Man, Old Cs and Colorado Keg house serves up the same, where Twenty Brew TapHouse is finding rare beers and sharing them with us. My beer nerd is so excited to have them as new neighbors. Plus, the owners are always working and know so much about beer(just chat them up) . If you want to stop being a sheep and try yummy beer. I double dog dare you to be different and try Twenty Brew TapHouse but talk to the bartenders and find out that theyre warm genuine guys that are beer, music and comic nerds. Cheers to beer!

Really cool tap house! It has a small front room where you get your drinks and then a ramp that leads to an even bigger room with games and tables to hang out. They throw events all the time and have food trucks on certain days. They also have a menu of all the things that deliver to them. Staff there is always friendly and knowledgeable on all the beers currently on tap. They also have a rewards program you can sign up for and you get free pints and things .
