RUDEST OWNER EVER. LIKES TO MAKE FUN OF HIS CUTOMERS right in front of them and behind their back. OWNER THINKS HE IS THE SOUP NATZI FROM SEINFELD!!! No joke . Thought he was having a bad day the first time he was rude. Not so...HE IS ALWAYS RUDE, AND HAS MAJOR ANGER ISSUES, towards most people . HEARD THE OWNER TELL HIS STAFF IF CUSTOMERS CALL AFTER 3:00 , IT IS A 45 MINUTE WAIT FOR FOOD. IF THEY DONT LIKE OR IF THEY COMPLAIN ... REFUSE THEM SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been going there for a year and the food quality and quantity has decreased drastically. The portions are so small lately they seem like a kids meal. 8 tiny peices in a seaseme chicken order, with a side of crunchy brown rice. Make sure you know exactly what you want or he will walk away rudely IN THE MIDDLE OF ORDERING. Im not just an unhappy customer that got bad service one time. Ive given this place a chance for a year ,numerous times and have had the same crappy , rude service each time. I know people have bad days, but this guy must be going through a midlife crisis to act this way to people. BAD ENERGY... I WOULD NOT DOUBT IT IF HE SPITS IN PEOPLES FOOD HE DOESNT LIKE. The one bright spot in this place is the young hard working waitress who is very sweet , kind, caring , and sincere . TOTAL OPPOSITE OF THE OWNER. If you go here youll probably see her since she works there everyday it seems like THE FOOD WAS SO CRAPPY THIS PAST TIME I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR MONEY BACK... BUT THE OWNER WOULD HAVE ATTACKED ME. WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS PLACE ZERO STARS IF GOOGLE REVEIWS EOULD GAVD LET ME

I have to say Golden Stix has lost a long time frequent customer after tonight. We frequent this business about once every two weeks because we liked the food, the service has always been marginal. Tonight was the poorest experience that we have ever had. I ordered black pepper chicken and after a few bites the sauce started to separate. The sauce ended up being mostly oil will a little spice. It was so oily that it tasted awful and was dripping oil and I couldnt eat it. By the time we were asked how things were about twenty minutes after our food was brought out I asked for the meal to be just taken off of the bill because the rest of my family was done eating. They offered to recook the dish but I was already nauseated from what I had eaten so we insisted it be taken off the bill. They then brought the bill out discounting the dish 50% instead of taking it fully off because I had eaten a few bites. The owner refused to take it off the bill and threatened to call the cops if we did not pay for that entree. The owner has the poorest customer service skills that I have ever seen. He doesnt care about his customers or what the community has to say about his business. I would highly recommend steering clear of this establishment. Just take a look at the oil floating above the sauce on this plate.

Owner is an ungrateful, despicable excuse of a human being. The way he treats his customers is abhorrent and his food is mediocre at best. He had his employees scrubbing the entryway floor on their hands and knees in the middle of Friday evening dinner rush, annoyed with anyone inquiring why he would have the floor covered in pools of filthy water, creating a hazard. Why not do this after close that night? Ridiculous. After I had slipped, he berated me and then yelled some more at me, a (now FORMER) customer, that I have no right to tell him how to run his business. Uh, I wasnt. After slipping, I was curious if a pipe had burst or if they had plumbing issues and simply asked. He snapped that the filthy floor had nothing to do with the food. Why so defensive? Maybe the owner has a lot of complaints/issues and clearly has NO customer service or business skills. Other businesses in the area deserve your patronage; THIS horrible business does not.

At one in time this place was my favorite resturaunt, sadly it has gone down hill fast. The service is probably the worst part, the servers a tall guy with his hair up and a short girl are both absolutely awful, they both seem miserable and seem to treat their customers like an inconvenience. Our last time there we were sat for a good 20 minutes without our orders being taken or drinks being offered (they did bring us out hot tea.... in a water cup which was too hot to touch,I feel the least they had to do was apologize for the wait or the tea, etc). After the waiter rudely told us we needed to move our babies highchair we just walked out. Im so sad, there arent any resturaunts up here and the ones that are up here all have poor service. I liked golden stix and used to frequent them weekly if not monthly but cannot fathom returning, the food has gone downhill along with the service.

The food is meh - average at best. But holy crap the staff is hilariously rude. They just dont even care. The waiters are all either permanently stoned or just really dumb. They act like theyre so cool working at a Chinese restaurant that they cant be bothered with you. Check came long before I was done eating and the apps were done before I even sat down. And it wasnt even busy. Dont turn over tables when its not busy. Such a strange place. Definitely wont be back. My fortune cookie said "You will not be back. Give your money to someone who cares."

Service was great, Im always a fan of free jasmine tea!! Our food was out within ten minutes of ordering and everyones dishes were piping hot and delicious. I had chicken lo mein and husband had the orange chicken (with legit chunks of oranges and whole chilis in it!) Several in our party commented that it was the best egg drop soup theyd ever had. Overall, great experience and if were ever back in the Conifer area well make it a point to stop in.

The staff is friendly, quick and when there not having a lunch or dinner rush very nice to visit with. The food is great! Their sauces for the different dishes are hard to match in Denver or up and down the front range. Were lucky to have Golden Stix on the 285 corridor. My wife could order from any of the restaurants between downtown Denver and Conifer and she will always choose Golden Stix. Thank you Golden Stix for all the great meals.

We dont order from here on the weekends due to the long wait and lack of meat in the dinners. So, we tried a Wednesday, terrible. A 45 minute wait for pick up and hardly any meat in both of our dinners. two dinners, a small soup and an appetizer for $35 and barely no protein, all vegetables and sauce. This is probably the 5th time this has happened, we try to support our little local, few, restaurants but were done with this place.
