So disgusted & disappointed with this place. I searched for a bakery to make my wedding cake in November & Little London was recommended to me. The tasting went amazing, the flavors were perfect & the frosting was just right. The assistant we dealt with was spacy but still very nice. We decided on a 3-layer design for $4.50 per person & added a few extra fondant pieces. Each layer was supposed to be a different flavor. We were quoted a decent price. Then they called me several days later to tell me they had to charge me extra for the fondant pieces... which were two small Metal Mulisha skulls. $50 a piece... This is where it gets sketchy. As our wedding date drew closer, our guest list increased. I called & let the same assistant know, & I came in a few days later to pay the price difference that the guest list changed. The day of our wedding I had asked the cake to be delivered 30 minutes early so I wouldnt have to worry about whether or not it showed up. They barely delivered it on time (after I paid an extra delivery charge) & after the ceremony I entered the reception room & could barely see my cake. It was this tiny 2-layer cake that looked nothing like we talked about... I had thought that maybe they had removed the top layer thinking we were going to freeze it, so I was crawling around on the floor in my wedding dress looking under the table for the rest of the box. It was empty of course. I called Jane, who Id never even seen. I had always dealt with her assistant. Jane proceeded to argue with me about the size of the cake & what I paid for. She got huffy & offered to bring some more cake over for the rest of my guests. What the heck was I going to do with two cakes that didnt match??? How would I explain that one??? So she made me another layer a few days later for us to save... I threw it in the trash. She then tells me, "Well what do you want me to do?!" I wanted the freaking cake that i paid for in the first place! The cake we had at our wedding was NOTHING like what we tasted at our first tasting. Our cake was sooooo nasty! It crumbled everywhere & fell apart. My guests werent even able to eat it with a fork & the frosting was not the one we picked. It was hard & smelled weird. Not everyone got a piece because it wasnt enough cake. I cried for almost an hour because I paid so much money for such a crappy cake. Jane did not even offer a partial refund for the cake we didnt get at the wedding. I dont know if there was a lack of communication between the owner & her assistant, or they just dont care, but either way, I am still ticked off about the treatment I received. I guess I should have realized something was amiss when the sticker they sent home on the tasting cake box had "specialty" spelled wrong. You cant even spell everything right on your own business label? I should have known better. I will never return here nor recommend it.

I have to say I was a little disappointed. I was very clear that my sons birthday was on a Sunday. I asked for a Saturday pickup as late in the day as possible. In my mind I think I assumed that the cake would then have been made and decorated on Saturday. I called Friday morning to discuss the details, make sure that I ordered the cake properly and the finishing touches etc were going to be what I described. During that call on Friday morning the designer told me the cake was pretty much already done. But yes, she could change a detail or two to make sure I loved the design. At that moment I realized the cake could not be very fresh for the party on Sunday. End result...the cake over all looked very pleasing to the eye. Yes, they are the best at decorating and presentation. By Sunday of course, I now had a three day old cake on the table. Dry and the entire cake cracked during cutting. ( I had it sit out at room temp for a couple hours as informed) I strongly believe in supporting local business. However, I paid a lot of money for a stale, hard cake. :(

Little London made our wedding cake, and we got so many compliments! It was stunning. We had a lot of special requests - every layer was to be different in flavor and filling; and we had a special topper that we wanted to use. The flavors were perfect - exactly what we wanted. We had guests from all over the world, and Little London accommodated everyones tastes perfectly. They put the topper on, and arranged everything perfectly. Our cake was to be covered in colored fondant - Little London got the color perfect. Absolutely perfect. They were so professional and nothing was out of the question. They made the cake of our dreams and were very easy to work with. We ordered a second cake for a member of the wedding partys birthday, and it was also perfect. Well be getting our birthday cakes from there from now on.

The Little London cake was gorgeous in my daughters wedding, exactly like the picture we wanted.. But unfortunatelly it was not keeping together, it was completelly crumbling as it was being sliced...not keeping one slice together in shape. At the cake tasting, the slice was delicious, above and beyond any other bakery in town... but not quite the same great taste in the wedding cake itself (since it was drier than the slice at the cake tasting and maybe due to that reason it was completelly crumbling). Due to that reason is getting 3 stars only...

Completely unsatisfied!!! I paid $425.00 for two cakes for my daughters first birthday. For that much money, I expected the cakes to look a lot better. The topper ($50) was HORRIBLE, it didnt look anything like the picture I brought in. I called and the the owner said was "Im sorry you feel that way, but I wont give you your money back" when I offered to return the cakes. Worst experience ever! I would encourage others to choose another bakery, especially if you are paying that much for cakes.

I asked the baker to create a relief map of the state of Colorado for my daughters wedding. It was beautifully executed- fun and accurate- and it tasted delicious. We had many out of state guests who hovered over it to get an idea of where various towns were in Colorado. The staff was extremely helpful in the planning and pick up of the cake. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING!!! We had them do a cake for our daughters 1st birthday. They completely exceeded our expectations with the design, and then we tasted it - and oh my goodness! We got so many compliments on both the design and taste of the cake! We will be using them for every event we can (and even wish we would have had them do our wedding cake)!

Little London Cakes made some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. The service was impeccable; Reuben, the guy working at the counter, was absolutely fabulous. We got chocolate cupcakes with amaretto Bavarian cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting and it was DIVINE. I would definitely go back there!
