Was looking around Google for a place I could have Pho, and I decided on this one based on the reviews I read beforehand, and it did not dissappoint! I was a little skeptical at first because the menu is primarily Chinese food... but at least they have combination Pho, which has the most flavourful broth for Pho I have EVER had (I used to eat at many different more authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Los Angeles, and this one was just as good if not better than the best places there). The meatballs were also really flavorful, Ive never tasted those kind before. The noodles were cooked a bit soft but thats actually how I like it (I like it to absorb a good bit of broth). The tripe was a bit chewy, but when is it not? The meat was good, but not as thinly sliced and raw-ish as Ive had in LA. Basil, bean sprouts and lime was provided. Also has the vietnamese coffee, which was fantastic and I wanted more, but a bit expensive at $3/glass (maybe $2.75 would have been nice?) Bill was $23 for two bowls of Pho & two coffees. My only gripe would have been the atmosphere, it was really quiet - needed some music or something.

Spring (or "summer") roll was lacking in volume and appetizer comes with only one roll. The Pho had minimal ingrediance as well aside from the noodles, and the veggie plate that came with it didnt have parsley, and the basil had brown spots. Not terrible, but not a lot of heart went into the prep and cooking of these dishes. They felt more rushed, and the owner is obviously cutting corners where they can with ingredients.

Dont let the strip mall location turn you away or the October 2009 review fool you. This restaurant changed hands later in the fall of 09 and is now run by the best oriental chef in town. The food is superb, consistent and, well I run out of superlatives. I have been eating John and Lans food for nearly 20 years (as well as asian food all over the planet) and it is wonderful to see them back in the business.

How does substituting noodles on a lunch special cost a "little extra" then you tell me my total is 10.25 when your menu for lunch specials are 6.50 until I get there and the price is 6.95 plus 2.75 for the noodles??!! Seriously 2.75 is not "a little extra" thats almost 40 percent of the meal charge you wont see another dime from me thats ridiculous

We have ordered delivery from this place twice now and they are very consistent and some of the best Chinese and Vietnamese we have had! Ordered the pork noodle bowl tonight which could compete with Saigon Cafe or Lemongrass any day! The Chinese dishes are tasty and consistent as well! Frequent this establishment. You wont be disappointed!

My husband and I live close by and whenever we have the craving for a noodle bowl we head over to House of Saigon. Ive eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants and this place is IT! The flavor combination is just perfect. We come so often that the owner knows exactly what we want :) This place is one of the best kept secrets!

I visited in the evening on 11/7/15 around 8PM. Empty... Ordered take-out at roughly $32. The food was bland, I ordered 3 spicy entrees and was shorted two side orders of rice. I felt that the portions were lacking . The wait staff was friendly.

Love this place. They use all white meat, which to me is a bonus! The cashew chicken is good, the pho, and the noodle bowls are good as well. Crab cheese wontons could use a little work but they are the best in the area hands down.

I live down the street from it thank goodness! Their pork fried rice is the best in the springs. Saves my life when i have a hankerin for rice. Bit pricey but large portions so definitely worth it.

Ordered food 45 minutes before they were supposed to close. No problems, 5 minutes before they close they call and tell us that they were "closing early" and there would be no delivery!?!

If you want to have vietnamese noodle soup, dont go to this restaurant. I was very bad misled by the previous reviews. I was the only customer from the start to end.

My fiancé had to recook his entire Mongolian beef and make rice from our home because it was very overdone and unedible!

Definitely one of my top 3 places to eat Pho. Sweeter taste but delicious and the chicken actually had flavor.
