Im really surprised at the good reviews posted here. I had a horrible experience and caution you to not go to Miyo. I took my dad to breakfast here today, on a Saturday morning at 10:00am. My dad recently had surgery and is in a full brace and cane. We stood in line to order and the servers kept saying "excuse me" to pass in front of my dad, meaning he had to take a very labored step back and forth multiple times. They could have just walked behind him instead. He eventually had to sit down because they wouldnt stop asking him to move for them while he was in line. When I got the the counter to order, I ordered my dad a "Make it your own" omelet. I asked for sausage, chorizo, and potatoes. The woman behind the counter who I believe was the manager scoffed and said "potatoes IN the omelet?!" I said yes. She asked for the side and I said green chili. She then said I get one more thing in my omelet, and my dad asked for cheese. I then went to order my omelet. I asked if the omelet eggs had dairy already mixed in. She said yes, and I asked if I could have mine not be as I have a severe dairy allergy. She said no way, Im too busy. Well of course you are, youre a breakfast spot during breakfast hours. I declined to order anything as I was so put off by her audacious rudeness. We then sat at our table and our order came out. There were no potatoes in the omelet that she had clearly mentioned and the cheese was on the side...for an omelet? It was so bizarre. Another server asked if she could get anything and my dad asked where to get creamer for his coffee. She said, well intentioned Im sure, "Ill get it for you, youre crippled". Im sure my dad, who is spending all of his time at PT to ensure he can walk again, did not appreciate the remarks. I will never, ever come here again. The woman behind the counter was so extremely rude, the order was incorrect, and they were completely oblivious to kindness or manners. I cant recommend enough against coming here.

First time here and it felt like we walked into a families home for brunch; as we were welcomed with a warm smile and friendly hello. The menu has a wide variety of offerings sure to satiate your appetite. We tried their smothered chorizo burrito, their bacon avocado mushroom skillet and their chicken caesar salad. All were served in very generous portions and did not disappointed in flavor. While we were eating we noticed the owner Gary working the room and checking on EACH AND EVERY customer. He moved chairs around to accommodate groups, bussed tables, lifted plates.....and demonstrated a level of service that I hadnt seen in a long time. After talking with our daughter for just a second he recognized that she may be a bit hungry after softball practice, and gave her some animal crackers to hold her over until her food arrived. They knew customers by name, showed kindness to everyone and were sincere when they said thank you for coming in. Gary and his staff emulate what a good business does.....provide a quality product and treat each and every customer as their most valuable client. As you can imagine with customer service like this it gets very busy on the weekends. High recommend for everyone! (Even your 4 legged family are welcome) Well be back.

We searched out a place for breakfast on a warm and sunny early March Sunday and found MIYO in west Castle Rock just south of the Castle Pines Golf Club. On this day Donna, the owner, greeted us from behind the counter and talked us through some of the menu options. She explained MIYO means Make It Your Own, so I decided to test that out and order a bean and chorizo breakfast burrito and asked for it to be prepared sans tortilla. Donna gladly accommodated and asked if I wanted it smothered with mild, hot, or vegetarian green chili. I chose the hot and tried another test and asked where she gets her chorizo. I was surprised to learn that she gets it from a family just down the road in Pueblo with whom she and her family have done business since the bootlegging days of Prohibition. Mrs ordered the Vanilla French Toast that comes crusted with sweetened corn flake cereal. Breakfast is one of those meals thats so simple its often hard to get it right. Today Donna and her people got it right and we both enjoyed our breakfasts and the busy but not crowded location. Do yourself a favor, find your way off the highway, choose locally-owned MIYO, and make it your own. Youll be glad you did.

My food, the breakfast tacos, was pretty good. I asked for a strawberry banana smoothie but only got strawberry. It was really good, though, so I didnt complain. The huevos rancheros was barely okay. A lot of beans and very little meat made for a big disappointment. The majority of staff was super friendly and since we went on Mothers Day they were passing out delicious chocolate covered strawberries to all of the ladies. Nice touch, but not quite enough. When I asked if they had blended drinks the lady said something along the lines of this isnt Starbucks, we dont do that. Pretty snarky and caught me off guard considering I didnt say anything about Frappuccinos. The prices were a little high but still fair. We may go back when were in that part of town again, but we will more likely Google other places to try. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but sadly it didnt even warrant 4.

Great service , lovely delish food. We had the South west and traditional benedict with a side of pancakes. We are always looking for a good breakfast place so this gem close to home hits the spot. The customer service was wonderful. The gentleman owner (dont know his name) stopped by twice once right after we started eating and then again to clear our plates. Then as Im writing this review his wife (Im guessing) came by on her way in (purse in hand) and asked if I was ok and needed anything. As a former server for over 10 years...this is how you do it. Well be back and I cant wait.

I have never had a more satisfying meal! (Sorry Mom) Everything from the location to the atmosphere and the food was amazing. I can see why feeling at home/with family is a common thing between reviews because I really felt like it. Donna (maybe thats how you spell it? sorry...) was an amazing host not only giving me advice and tips but also checking in regularly making sure everything was perfect and it was. If this were the last meal I were to eat before the end of my time Id die a happy man.

We had breakfast this morning, 10/1/2016. Great experience. Food was excellent and coffee great, which is hard to find. We had the Creek omelette and theTraditional spicy burrito. If you dont like it very hot, then order it smothered with medium sauce. Service was friendly and the owners so welcoming. I think we have found a new favorite breakfast place. I strongly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful cafe with a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere and fabulous staff! From the moment we arrived we were treated as more than just customers, we were welcomed as guests. We can go almost anywhere for food, but for a very affordable dish made with high quality ingredients and delivered with exceptional service, Miyo Cafe is the place to go. This place is hands-down our new favorite spot for Sunday brunch!
