when i firstwalked in i was suprised at how curt the server/(scooper?) was when taking my order. as i sat down it was difficult to find a clean area. when i ate the meat was cold, the white rice was lumpy and my arms were sticking to one of the "cleaner" tables. then i noticed splatters of sauce(?) on the walls next to me and the fact that the soy sauce bottles on the tables were all absolutely filthy as if never wiped down. when i left the two workers eyes just followed me...no cheery thank yous or plz come back....just dead silence. HORRIBLE service, horrible food, and horribly filthy. i will never come back.

I use to frequent this place a lot and thought the food tasted great, but after noticing the quality of the food went down the last 3 visits. I stopped going and took my business elsewhere, I dont know what happened? Perhaps they changed cooks/recipes?. Ive always gotten along with the staff and felt welcomed, I dont think their rude. I have no intentions on ever returning to this place, its not what it used to be. I gave them 3 chances when I noticed the quality of the food went down, in hopes that it was just a bad day/time, nope.

HORRIFIC from every angle! Anyone with any sort of intelligence or concern for their own health will not eat in this putrid dump. This place does not even have heat for the building. Once while eating there in the summer last year the swamp cooler was leaking water in through the ceiling into a bucket in the middle of the dinning room. Dont even get me started on the condition of the bathrooms. I will be reporting this slophouse to the Colorado Dept. of Health. If your not an idiot then do not eat there!

Its a Good place the noodles are great ! its a descent place and you shouldnt judge it base on the building and or lacation when you first survey it. the cashier is a likable guy with a positive attitude even tho his English isnt well he understands. overall the food is cheap and good. I visit every time i crave Chinese food. So if youre in the city stop by and give them a try.

These guys here are the worst first they greet you with a what do you want attitude second I ordered beef with broccoli to get a plate full of broccoli I asked politely where is the beef only to receive a cold stare no reply this isnt the first time I received bad service here but is the last. food sucks ppl suck and this place Is a mess

This is a hidden gem restaurant, been coming here since I was in middle school. One of the best Chinese food in Denver. Portions are great and prices are unbeatable for the quality of food they serve. Small place, but dont be deceived by its looks. Let your taste buds be the deciding factor. New management.

When I called, they didnt say their business name when answering the phone so I asked if this was Rice Bowl Chinese Cafe. The gentleman was very rude and acted irritated. I didnt even order after that. Not a good first impression.

Do not judge this place by its exterior or interior...It is a dollar scoop. And by far my favorite one. And this is no 1.25 a scoop it is a $1 plus tax. a styrofoam container full of three scoops and a soda is only 5 bucks!!
