If you like hipster service (Im too cool for customers) then this is the place for you. Waited 10 minutes for an americano, which of course was cold when I finally got it. The bicycle shop isnt any better. Recently went there to get a flat fixed. The guy stuffed a tube that was WAY too big for my tire. Took him 20 minutes. Then finally when he rang me up told me what he had done. He literally said to me, "If this tube blows, dont worry, just come back and well replace it. I dont have the right size in stock." Seriously? The tire couldnt even be inflated. Fortunately it didnt bust on the way over to another shop. But why would you even do that and waste my time instead of just saying you dont have the proper tube? And again, he was very caviler about it. The tube was twice as big as it should have been (I dont even know how he managed to stuff it in there). The time before when I went to get a flat fixed, the guy took a personal call for ten minutes before finally changing the flat, while three of his co-workers stood around. Crappy service all around.

I was a simple traveler who had my lock stolen, went in after many great words from friends to get a quick fix to be in my way. Service was horrible, as a customer walking into a buisness I deserve good or at least some sort of service for isnt that the number one reason places stay above water. The bike "bros" have allowed working in a shop like this turm them into such pretentious too cool for school kind, waited patiently for several mins and was ignored then when I approached an employee for service I was turned away for they were to busy talking about what trend from the nineties they were going to try and bring back. If you actually care about getting good service and treated as an actual customer then do not support this establishment. Just words from one actuall productive member of society to another. Carry on all.

I brought my bike it to have the rear caliper serviced. I had the parts and was unable to do it myself because the seal that was bad was missing. They did they best they could with what I gave them but couldnt replace that seal. At that point I was a little disappointed. I wanted them to find the solution. They then attempted to do a final bleed and could not get the system to hold pressure. They then contacted the manufacturer and negotiated replacing my entire hydraulic brake setup under warranty (outside of warranty) due to a defect. They still have my bike, waiting on the new system, Im sure theyll do a fine job as they have already proven to be thorough. They have exceeded my expectations and will be getting repeat business and referrals based on this experience. They really came through for me.

I usually have a decent experience here, just hanging out and drinking beer on the patio, but not today. There was a "beer garden" (picnic tables set up on the grass between the sidewalk and the street) so we were sipping our beers at the picnic tables and enjoying the day when some woman who didnt identify herself came out to the beer garden and accused us (me, a friend, 5 other paying customers not in our group) of having deliberately subverted the rules of the bar and threatened to pour out our beers if we didnt move immediately. It wasnt like we werent willing to move, but being treated like a criminal pretty much ruined the vibe. I dont think Ill be going back there... Plus, the shop prices are a little steep. $11 for a tube? Gimme a break!

Bartenders and staff are always exceptional. Great attitudes all around from guests, owner, staff, bike techs. They make a point to always have new and exciting brews on draft and the can selection is also top notch. Ive had my bike serviced here a number of times and as long as they arent super busy, everything is handled quickly and professionally at very cheap prices. They also have a nice selection of bike products from fully built bikes to frames, components, and accessories. Be sure to check out their calendar for cool events. Theyre always doing some beer/cheese pairing or some kind of special release in partnership with local breweries.

First time in yesterday and I essentially spent my whole day there. I met up with a classmate to study and found the environment to be perfect for that purpose. While I was in the restroom, I noticed the calendar mentioned that they were having trivia that night (which is uncommon on Saturday nights, as businesses typically use trivia to reel patrons in on slow nights) and so I returned with my boyfriend that night to partake. We had a great time! I thought everyone behind the counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I cant speak to the bike shop side. Apparently Im the person in Denver who doesnt own one.

I recently moved to Denver from New York City and became a full-time student. I have searched high and low for the perfect spot and DBC is IT. I love how I can work there all day, have a meeting or study group if I want, and then enjoy a Happy Hour beer. I also love the way the vibe shifts from energetic work space to laid back beer time. I appreciate that the wifi is turned off at 5, because it breaks up the day and encourages me to get everything done and then kick back. The staff is great, and so is the coffee and beer. This place really has it all and is my favorite spot in Denver!

I hit the DBC for the 1st time on a hot summer afternoon, following a 15 mile bike ride. The cool and inviting surroundings were a welcome respite from the heat rolling off the asphalt. These folks have hit upon a great merging of offerings - bike repair, coffee and beer. I didnt avail myself of the 1st 2 but I did have 3 pints which were all from some of Denvers finest craft brewers - River North, Golden Kettle and Lone Tree. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back; just the kind of environment that coaxes you to come back again and again...

PRICEY!!! I just paid $11 each for two 29" regular (not slime) inner tubes. Specifically QTubes 29" Schrader inner tubes. These things apparently go as low as $6 each at other locations. The original price tag stamped on the boxes I have was $8. Somewhere along the line over a 37% mark up from the original retail price was decided to be a good idea. I also tried to buy a shock pump there last week. They wanted $40 for a pretty much all plastic pump. I found a planet bike shockmate for the same price elsewhere. I suggest you buy elsewhere.

I love love love that this place is a staple for authentic Colorado craft beers. I also love that they dont overwhelm you with options. There are 12 beers. Their flights are a flight of 6 for $8 you cannot beat that! You can literally try all the beers with 2 flights. I love that. And they have some amazing beers. Earl grey tea beer was amazing as well as their nitro beer and their ipas. Just a must try. And the atmosphere and service are really quaint. It feels like a little home grown bar. Not too fancy.
